Does anyone have one of these, or had any experience using it?
We had a Panasonic VCR for ages, then last Christmas bought a Samsung VCR/DVD Combi when the TV died. Anyway, the functionality of the unit is far less compared to the Panasonic VCR we had, even the LCD display is poorer, which is a shame seeing as the Panasonic is about 6 years older.

Thanks for responding millarcat, it seems from the reviews that this Phillips unit is similar to my Samsung one with regards to the cripplied useability.
I suppose you could say that you get what you pay for at £66, but I think I'd rather save up for one of the all in one units like the Panasonic.
Thanks for posting the deal though.
