Photo Shoot with Hair and Make-up Session and £100 Towards Prints to Take Home at Arts Photography for £27 (Value £320)
The three main reasons people take up photography are the fulfilment of creating artistic opuses, the satisfaction of developing prints, and pursuit of concrete evidence that the The Loch Ness Monster really does exist. Get photographic proof of your own mystique with today's offer: £27 instead of £320 for a makeover and photo shoot at Arts Photography.

Styling up their clients with make-up brushes, hair brushes, and finally air brushes, Arts Photography have an arsenal of tricks up their sleeves for bringing out natural beauty and taking it to the max. The studio offers photography experiences for family groups, mothers and babies, adoring couples, and made-over minxes, styling and shooting their customers against a choice of 6000 different back grounds.

Today's Groupon offers ladies - and gents too if they like - the chance to be preened, pampered, and photographed at Arts Photography. The Arts Photography make-up artists will puff powder on cheeks, slick gloss on lips, and dust shadow over eyes for a sultry smoulder using Mac make-up and other top brands. Groupon holders will then have £100 to spend on merchandise such as framed photos (priced at £140), photo discs (£190), and canvas prints (£295).

Worth more like £3.20 than £320. All these type of scams are like that and have been from way before the internet.

It is well known that these "offers" always result in a large expenditure. The £100 off the vastly inflated price of prints is surely an indication that this is not a bargain !

This is not true. As discussed with Groupon when we put on this promotion, we are a high end photography studio, and we like to use the best quality of framers, canvas companies, graphic designers, photographers and makeup artists. Our makeup artist is called Lauren Sally, and charges £50 for the makeup each time (if you would like, check out her website), you also get £100 to spend towards our products, that is already £150. The photographer charges £50 per hour, all the 3 - 4 hours editing, with the editing team at £25 per hour, and the hour viewing time etc, it is something we pride, and we have never done an offer like this before. We did not see any of the voucher money itself, and our overheads are £5000 a week!, I feel upset when people just asume that we take a photo and put it on a disk after nearly 6 hours work, for absolutely nothing. However, if you do have any feedback, I am grateful, so we can set our standards higher. So thank you, and I really hope that you did have a good experience. Thank you again, and have a lovely weekend. All the Best

Hi Jamal Fatty
Thank you for your feedback. I have only been informed about this. Initially Groupon did get the offer on their site incorrectly!, and only changed it after we managed to get in touch with them in the morning, they then e-mailed all people that had received the original offer incorrectly and should have informed all the people that had purchased the voucher at that time. All the people at that stage were able to cancel their voucher if they required to. I have infact, just discussed this with a customer of ours, and they have pointed out the original offer of £190. I do not know where the figure came from in the first place, we cannot proof read the offer before it goes live, and we do in fact have a slide show disk for £195, which means that you can view your images on a screen as a slide show, therefore it would be £95 for all the images on a cd. These are not able to be printed, but are merely a token of the special time had in the studio. Thank you again, as it is the first offer we have done with any website offer, we know for next time to make sure we can proof read the offer before it goes live!!!

Hi There, Arts Photography do not do print sales, as obviously they are just a cheap item, and after all the hard work that Arts Photography put into everything, I feel that it is important that Arts' customers take away a specialised framed portrait, rather than a flimsy bit of photo print. However, i do agree, that some photography companies charge a very high price for prints. It's like going to a mitchelin star restaurant, ordering eg. burger cooked 3 ways, mini lamb burger with mint and yoghurt, mini beef burger with chilli salsa and chicken burger with marinated gherkin and tomato, home cut fries and home made coleslaw which is £28, and then say to the restaurant, it's not a bargain, because you can get that at Mc Donalds for £3.99!!!!
