not as good as thier old fill a tub for 3 quid
#2
Anyone else see the irony that these are just posted after the Oral-B toothbrush heads? :D

Yeah I missed the "all you can pack for £3" pick and mix. Bought some (no more than the £3 tub) the other day and it came to over £5!
#4
good price of a pick and mix but still very expensive per 100g for sweets.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, fudge. FUDGE! Feel the weight of them before you put 'em in... Flumps, marshmallows, flying saucers... you can have as many of them as you want. Not pear drops... not made of money!"

shop in worthing does 100g for 49p as standard. bought a fivers worth and the bag was overflowing!
Woolworths pick and mix isnt half as good as it used to be....

i used to get the smaller £1.99 tubs and every now and again get the £2.99 ones and sometimes they used to do buy one get one half price which was amazing.

I have bought 1 bag of pic n mix from woolies since they changed it and that came to £4 and i didnt think i put in any more than i used to with the £1.99 tub.

I wonder how their sales are now they have stopped doing that, out of principle i wont be buying from there again as i somehow feel a bit cheated.

lol - don't recognise it, but sounds like a Monty Python sketch...

Better than the £11 quid I paid for about 10 sweets in a Cardiff shopping centre!

No vote for me though, don't really like adding heat to things that are rubbish for you.

the fizzy cheerys and strawberries are what its all about
#14
Any quidco?????

hmm shall i get some???

Didnt realise they stopped doing the tubs!!!!!!
#15
We were in today and it was still 69p ....
#16
50p in the stores around here :)

...and there were proper advertising posters (not something a store manager has done off his own back)

Someone who works there told me they lost too much money with the tubs. Woolworths were loosing 10K per year on lost pic and mix sales through people stuffing the tubs and having the equivalent of saying £6-£7 worth in a bag.

Hot!

Bought over £4s worth the other day and it came to £3 or so. Compared to other online sweet retailers including eBay sellers, 50p per 100g is a great price! Sure, you can get a few hundred gram bag of Haribo for less than a quid, but then you dont get to choose what sweets you get, and miss out on all the nice ones like the strawberries and fizzing cherry cola bottles! :)

Plus, they sell these same Candy King sweets for £1.29+ per 100g in cinemas, so how can people complain at 50p?!

PS, once the offer ends, head over to Wilkinsons- they do 100g of Candy King sweets for 59p - next best price ;)
