The oil heaters are extremly energy intensive and take time to heat up, would be better with a fan heater in my opinion.

I thought it was the other way around? Once the oil is heated it stay warm for ages, where as fan heaters use alot of energy?

Weve got one of these. Takes very little time to heat up and manages to store the heat very well.

Fan heaters are very expensive as once turned off, the heat stops, unlike oil based heaters.

We had a fan heater and it just created too much 'dry air' for my liking.
