Well folks, was in two minds about this one.

It did "price bomb" in certain GAME stores a while back, and it has been available in the past for closer to a fiver. But recently I haven't seen it that cheap at all - see below examples (ShopTo actually have it under £15 new if you hurry).

Dont' forget 8% Quidco (thanks suspiciousmole)!

-- Cold voters please post where you can get it cheaper, in stock, so I can add to the below list which currently has zero cheaper, in stock, otherwise why're you voting at all. --

This game is £10 new in the Morrisons game sale thing thats nationwide, my local store in Melton Mowbray had like 4 copys left.

£9 preowned vs £10 new. Says it all.

I'm not sure why you are comparing in-store deals.. it's chalk and cheese. With in-store very FEW people actually get to take advantage - perhaps because they don't have a lcoal store, or there are no copies left as is usually the case. With online, everyone gets a chance. And as I've taken the time and effort to prove (sometimes I wonder why I bother), this is the best *online* deal for this game.

As for Morrisons.. mine has no copies. Says it all. :(

That is a good deal, but for me to get to a Morrisons would cost me about £10 in travel costs - negating the savings a little!

Because there's not much difference. The Pre owned game you're listing is stored in a building just like a standard shop would stock a new copy.

You're forgetting that with these Pre owned games you have no way of knowing the condition of the disc you're about the recieve which makes buying said game dubious at best because I'm sure a lot of people wouldn't want to go through the hassle of sending a pre owned game back.

Back to my original point. The Morrisons gaming deals are nationwide, it doesn't matter if you can get one or not. The fact remains its cheaper offline in the real world then online.

Morrisons £10 new is the best deal around for this game.

Think the site is called "Hotdeals" not "Bestdeals" - and if it isn't possible for a lot of people to take advantage of one deal, why can't someone let people know about other deals which are still good?

Not really sure why you're getting upset over my comment. This is Hotukdeals, a site for the best deals in the UK. Offline or Online it doesn't matter. I've seen posts get rated cold because its cheaper in the real world. I have a right to inform people of the best deal. £9 pre owned just isn't a good offer if its £10 new. Even if its pot luck if you get or not in the real world, fact remains the deal is better. End of.

Wrong.

£9 online is a good.. nay, great deal if it's £20 or more everywhere else online < I think it's the online part you're getting confused over. Possibly 5% of people here would be able to get the Morrisons deal.. I should know, worked there for 15 years in head office.

Large companies such as tesco/game/gamestation won't send you a dodgy copy either. Read their FAQs.

As for folks voting cold.. I challenge you to find and post a cheaper online deal. I thought I was doing you a favour as no doublt some want this for Christmas. You WON'T get it cheaper unless you're lucky enough to be within £5 petrol's worth of a morrisons that has any copies left.

Totally agree you have a right to inform people of it - which is why I said earlier it's a good deal - but by your reasoning there should only be one *best* deal for Black Ops which is hot.... actually lost count of the deals for this. Just don't think a deal should be voted cold unless the exact same type of deal (ie online & delivered) for lower price has already been posted.

Whys this expired? I ordered one just now at this price from their website

Well even though it was expired this deal worked out great for me, the game arrived today looking very much like a new copy. Its minus the cellophane outer wrap but inside the manuals and paperwork are immaculate and even has the club nintendo card with scratch off strip intact so I can still register it and earn Wii points.

Am going to repost this deal as it sure beats the £19 ebay merchants out there
