Brilliant!!!
I would buy it if I could afford it!!!

I love the Syd Barrat years!! I thought they went a little dull(but still like) in the middle with Atom Hearted Mother and meddle but they soon bounced back again!! Dark side and the wall + Animals all awesome!!!

Although I love the Psychodelic Barrat but must admit these days the more technically brilliant Dark side, Wish You Were Here and The Wall are what I would be more inclined to listen these days!!:-D

Let there be Prog Rock!!!!

Bro, you don't need to end every sentence with one or more exclamation marks. Full stop's are more than sufficient.

Full "stop's"? PEDANTRY FAIL! (Although I do agree about the exclamation marks!!!)

Great deal by the way. Heat and rep added.

Very tempted

The final cut is my favourite, although where is the 'delicate sound of thunder disc?'
#15
Its a good price but they need to stop doing the endless box sets and special editions. I've got all the albums (some of them two or three times thanks to digital remastering and anniversary editions) and the Shine On box set. Don't think I really need this.

But if anyone is a huge Floyd completist, you'd be better off hunting down the Treeful of Secrets bootleg boxset imho.

Delicate Sound of Thunder was not a studio album. It was a live album. As was/is Pulse.

I dont consider anything without Roger Water's to be a 'proper' Floyd album so Momentry Lapse of Reason and The Division Bell shouldnt really be there IMO.

But that said they are still very good and this is a fine collection for people who dont already own the albums or a real fan type who wants to own it all.

Heat added as this is a great deal, especially with the voucher and quidco, but I'm with this guy on the set - basically eye candy for die hards who will clearly have some if not most\all of the content. I include myself in this: I would dearly love to own this but have most of their albums I want and would prefer remastered or added rarities (Robert Smith knows how to do re-releases properly).

For me its the collective of Waters, Gilmore and Wright (RIP!) who were the genius behind Pink Floyd (Nick Mason less so, although he had some influence on some of their earlier stuff). Take any of those three out and you loose the dynamic.

Seen Waters live twice, he was ok but I don't think I could handle another live rendition of 'Leaving Beirut'!
