Thanks for sharing this deal LynnieD, just in time to escape from this miserable weather.

If only they were a bit bigger (Ryanair size) and I'd buy one as it'd make it so much easier with my daughter.

This was a life saver when we took our little ones abroad last week.

How did a kids suitcase end up being a life saver?
#13
We found them a burden. We ended up carrying them most of the time. Our 2 kids (2 1/2 and 4 1/2) would keep tiring of riding/pulling them. On the return flight, we packed our own hand luggage so we'd have hands free for these. Wished we'd just got them to use their backpacks. At least they'd have stuck with those.

This is still a good price, so voted hot. Our kids loved them, just weren't so keen on lugging them around.

Possibly a figure of speech, as opposed to meaning that the suitcase actually saved someone's life.

I'd imagine that it kept the children entertained, being pulled around or riding it about while they were waiting in a departure lounge.

1) It is quite obvious it doesn't come with an attached defibrillator, despite that being a pretty awesome feature.
2) The phrase "a lifesaver" usually means something which provides great help in a difficult situation, and I was curious to know in what difficult situation a trunki came to the rescue!

I seem to remember that being the reason that the Dragons in the Den didn't invest. Looks like they missed out on a good business venture nvertheless!

Just bought the lady bug one called trunkie Harvey which was about £28 but still £10 better then the RRP plus mother are sending me a £10 voucher.

So many thanks, my 3 year old thinks this is HOT.

Just in case someone is going to order one of these through the link above, I have just spoken to Debenhams Plus and these are not even in stock at the moment. Expected 'at the end of the month'! No good to me tho'. Have just been let down by MyWendyHouse (through Play.com), who said my Trunki was dispatched on 18th, only to be informed today that they also have no stock. Halfords - online - show they have it, but unfortunately in some very obscure place in UK that is obviously nowhere near me (N.I.). [Btw, it can be ordered through Halfords for £26.99 using code AFFBC8].

I need one of these for Friday latest. I've promised my little niece and she will be SO disappointed if I don't get one. Am going to try Mothercare as per above suggestions and see if I can source one in one of their branches. If anyone has any further suggestions, I would be most grateful. Thanks.
