I'm probably being a complete numpty here but are these just greetings cards? Do you get entry to anywhere to use your free tea for two voucher? Or will you have to pay to get into wherever you want your cuppa.
I think if it`s on their list you shouldn`t have to pay see:
http://www.pinkandgreene.com/national-trust/#terms-conditions
click on terms and conditions to see the list of properties.
I`ve been a few times and I`ve never had to pay to enter the tearoom

Sorry, yes these are blank cards, not Christmas cards, you don`t have to pay to enter the property itself, because the tea room can be accessed from the grounds. So often, the tea room is open when the house itself isn`t. Usually it`s part of the gift shop. It`s not all National Trust properties. But it`s a lot. There is a list with the vouchers. The only problem I`ve found is that they may charge you to use the car park if you come by car, in which case, you can park outside the grounds if you don`t mind a walk!
Locally to me the cafes tend to be in the gardens and to access the gardens you need to pay the entry charges.
My best friend has a lifetime membership so when this deal was posted a few days ago I bought her a pack

Saltram House in Plymouth has the tea room outside the property. I think you pay a couple quid parking or you park outside and walk into the grounds. HTH.
"Participating properties are listed inside the voucher" (obviously some don't have a tea room)
Does this mean that some properties with tea rooms don't accept these vouchers, I an a member but would like this clarified please
Thanks.

Perfect for my friend who was given a lifetime NT membership!
So it doesn't actual include entrance to NT sites? That's the killer.

To save on exorbitant entrance fees some have suggested this: http://www.heritage.org.nz/get-involved/join-us.

Can you have two mugs of coffee instead as we are not tea drinkers.

Yes you can

awesome, got a good deal on NT membership, and this is the icing on the cake to get us there more often (humm... and they do tend to do good cake to go with the tea..... )

When you say it only lasts for this weekend, do you mean you have to use up all 8 tea vouchers this weekend?
The vouchers last for a minimum of 12 months. The free triple pack is only for this weekend.
Our National Trust packs are the best way to buy beautiful National Trust cards, saving you over 30% compared to the recommended retail price. What's more, every card comes with a voucher entitling you to a free pot of tea for two at participating National Trust properties - a total of 5 vouchers (or 10 cups of tea) per pack! Participating properties are listed inside the voucher. Vouchers must be validated online before use and are valid for 12 months from that date.

Mine arrived too, the list of valid places on the voucher itself is dfferent (less places) to the list on the website, can anyone confirm that the list on the website http://www.woodmansterne.com/national-trust-tea-voucher-terms-and-conditions/ (and previously posted)
... Takes precendent?
Got my three thank you OP
Two have the full list and one the truncated one

The TASTER code no longer works on a single card however it included another 3FREE would that be for just cards without the vouchers ?

My cards have arrived but the first one I opened is missing the tea voucher. Its Sheringham Park, has a steam train on the front. Has anyone else got the same card please? All the others are ok. Thanks
I've got that one - voucher is enclosed (if that helps?).

Thank you. Mine's definitely missing.

Have to say think this is a great deal two questions
one what are the expiry dates ?
two when it says pot of tea for two.......
You have to go to publisher's website to get a code to validate the vouchers. Expiry date is 12 months from when you do that.

I sent for one card, but I was sent four! Each with a free tea voucher! And one extra one pinned to one of the cards!
I think the OP actually says this, but I didn't understand what I was going to get!

And there are lots and lots of National Trust properties which are doing the free teas. And the free teas expire twelve months after you register the card. There's a simple procedure for doing that online.

The only thing that isn't entirely clear to me is whether the free teas give you admission to the National Trust property itself. In the National Trust properties I've been to the tea rooms are usually not located in the garden itself and never in the house itself. Sometimes you have to pay a single fee to visit the house and garden. Sometimes you can pay just to visit the garden.
But it's not clear to me whether this tickets allow you to visit the house, grounds as well as having tea (sort of one day National Trust membership), if they do then they really are amazing value!

the voucher is just for a free tea for two. there are loads of properties which have a tea room accessible without paying entrance to the property.

looks like its saying free membership cos you put 'free National Trust cards'...
I was confused by that too, thought it was a great deal on national trust membership and some tea too, not taster cards and tea.
sorry i wasnt clear, free memmbership with a £1.49 would have been deal of the decade!
