i bought one of these last year to use with my ps3. the video quality upon playback is amazing, even though it uses RCA cables. this is a ho deal, i bought it for a reduced price of £29.99 on sale and this is even better. voted hot :)

you do not need a powerful pc to run this btw, i was using a samsung nc10 netbook with 1gb ram!!! beware, it does take up a lot of hard disk when recording

Certainly is a good price compared to other suppliers so on that basis I vote it hot. Just to give a further bit of information, it does not come with the required leads to connect from your video source so that's an additional thing to consider. Also, as far as I can see, it will not copy Macrovision Protected VHS tapes (at least, not with the supplied software) so it could be a no-no if you intend to put your Commercial VHS Library on to Dvd.

I have one of these and bought it at £60 3 years ago if i remember correctly.
Stay away from this product, the dazzle software is a piece of sh*t, which makes the unit itself completely useless.

The driver compatibility with any OS passed XP is awful.

I still blame this unit for messing up my first laptop. It got BSOD as soon as i pressed record on the software, and it never worked properly again.

My advice is don't go near this, go on ebay and search for an alternative capture card :)

Maybe, just maybe some things available on VHS are not available on DVD
