I saw this on argos ebay the other day for £5 more item 360343698947

But very basic from pioneer so decided against, No SD or USB, not very powerful amp @ 35W, very basic functions and display.... OK if you want something basic but not really much of a deal IMO

Lol just noticed that myself. Just posted this an a alternative to the pink one posted earlier by another member. I don't own it but the reviews seems possitive for this model although the specs listed look wrong :/

Probably so-called "music power" or one of the other inflated measures of output power. RMS is the only consistent and meaningful measure.

the AUX imput is the 3.5mm jack input on the front of the facia , it allows you to input sound to play through the radios speakers when you select aux mode on the car stereo, so in short yes you can do what you asked.

Thanks for your help, the last in car stereo I fitted was a mini-disc player in an old Rover 820 Fastback, bit of a dinosaur now but at the time I Loved that Mini Disc player!

35W or 50W? You won't notice the difference, due to the logarithmic nature by which the ear perceives sound levels.
