apare from the fact its dropped £30 since I bought it two months ago i would advise AGAINST buying this player - I have had to update the firmware twice, keep losing the optical out sound configuration and it keeps playing the movie in the top left corner of a 42" panel...its alot slower than my Samsung 1500, and it cant drop out of playback to menus - you have to stop it from playing then go to menus - seems really heavy handed in the whole way it navigates...

Disappointing to be fair, had heard good things about Pioneer as well...

I've got a Pioneer BDP-51FD and it doesn't suffer from any of those problems (although it is quite slow to load discs). The picture and sound are great and the menus are elegant and user friendly.

Very limited stocks - only 5 of the BDP120 in the whole country anyway. Also, they may be ex-display.
