Been waiting for this to drop below £100 (it has been around £119 for the last month or so on Amazon). Halfords is still at £121.

I wanted it mainly for the bluetooth feature.

Seems to get good reviews overall (see both Amazon and Halford web sites for peeps write ups)

It is available for prime (if you have it), so getting mine delivered tomorrow.

voted hot. I'm after one of these and and as the Op has said Halford prices have not moved much.
There are some available here too but perhaps not as good

I actually done need a cd player at all. All I really need is radio Bluetooth Usb or Sd and double din size to plug the gap left by my.old ford stereo. I see Aldi do single din like this for 40.

I don't use the CD player either, but i have found that the slot is exactly the right size for my moto g phone and its magnetic flap cover. This allows me to slot my phone cover partly into the CD slot and voilà... Instant phone holder!

No DAB is a deal breaker for me.

You're looking at about another £200 for DAB not including if you need a new aerial. Is there any need? Get a radio app for your phone and Bluetooth to the stereo. A lot cheaper.

I know, its a bit odd, considering most car lighting that you would retrofit a stereo into has either orange or green lighting.
A lot of the Alpine stuff comes with selectable colour lighting or they just plain make a different model with red/orange/green on the cheaper end of their stuff

Edit
Just noted this one too has selectable colours, still looks like Blackpool illuminations though

£101.56 from Halfords on ebay if you want to use Nectar points towards the purchase, or collect Nectar points.

Was going to get this yesterday but as its not removable faceplate I went for a single din Sony.

I have this in my van and its good , hands free is spot on the only thing is its a bit bright at night even dimmed as low as possible
with the colour change options you can make it match the dash of your car

on a side not I just got a pioneer sph-da120 for the family car and its amazing with apple car play , it puts an iPhone in your dash
I paid £315 for mine and it was well worth it

Well...both items install into the automobile....there's the relevance.
I guess I was just happy to share that I had a great car stereo installed this weekend. Cheer up :3

Nope, as it has Mirror-link via smartphone, Google maps appears on the touch screen, works better than any Sat Nav I know, plus it's a free extra :{

Might as well pay £20 more for the latest model of this stereo

£101.56 at Halfords if you want to check it out before you buy

I have this in my car. It's a really good unit, Bluetooth works well and you can select which colour illumination you want from a vast number of different colours. You can also dim it if you find it distracting!

I got it for about £110 from Halfrauds a year ago when it was on offer...

When I was a boy racer all them years ago, Any Double Din stereo cost an arm and a leg,

So tempted to get this and having a go fitting it myself since i went to an audio specialist and there price to fit a double din unit would be £400 and the unit was £300. Its a nissan 350z with the old school bose tape recorder haha terrible sound.

gunna wait for android auto system I think

dab in a car is just a waste of time with limited reception and issues with all other radio and electro magnetic related tech in the car just means it's a nightmare

£400 lolololol that implies it'll take about a day to install, what a joke no chance. should cost 100 to 200

if you live near reading go to John kleis

I installed this some time ago, great stereo and bluetooth comes with separate microphone to be located on sun visor etc. It is a little on the bright side at night but you can select from a number of colours to find one that's no so in your face. All in all a great stereo for the price and extremely easy to install if you use appropriate wiring harness for your car model. Have some heat!!

This one has RGB leds for illumination. Over 210 000 different color options for buttons and backlight.
#33
Had one of these since the summer. Bluetooth works flawlessly, so paired up with a phone on an unlimited data plan, you can stream any online/dab stations you want, or content from a plex server, and of course whatever is on your phone.

Great bit of kit - lights can be a little garish, but they're dimmable and can be set up to colour match your dash, as other people have mentioned.

Comes with a wired mic to stick to your dash/interior for the hands free bit (which is done by Parrot and works very well). Really pleased with mine..

A external mini rod antenna on the outside will fix any reception issues with DAB. Any other issues are to do with the noise levels of the vehicle equipment, not the DAB receiver.

Anyone know if the iPhone 6+ works with this? I am keen but I would be properly hacked off if I didn't have whatever features it's supposed to have because I wasted loads of money on a phone that was too new for stereos I could afford!

Anyone got both that can find out how well they play together?
#36
They work fine together

I hope you took out a long service plan, worcester boilers are notoriously unreliable.

The 350z is a real hassle, alot of extra components are required if it is the UK BOSE version as mine was. I would say £150 for the materials and the rest would be labour.
IF you don't have the BOSE version it is straight forward.

I actually have the full install setup still lying about somewhere, I must get it advertised.

Very tempted by this, just to play spotify from phone.
As mentioned before £101.56 in Halfords, and if you have British Cycling Membership you can get 10% off.
Anyone know how much Halfords would charge for fitting?
