Great performance from Gianna Michaels. Google her if you are not familiar with her work! Only if you are over 18!

-1, it was great fun and intentionally a b-movie horror stylee.

Amazing film.

Don't bother watching it if you're a moron as you won't get it.

Even for a B or C - movie, its crap. I didnt have any expectations while watching it, but everything in the film was utter garbage. People buying this are just encouraging producers to make such rubbish films again and again, which is just wrong.

Just because it's a parody does not make it any less vulgar, moronic and pointless than the films it parodies. It fact it's worse as it uses what made B movies successful by taking their cheap laughs, gore and sexual content to extremes all under the pretence of a parody. A parody is meant to mock not glorify.

What will appeal to those that like this garbage is the lowest common dominator entertainment, nothing else.

Anyone who thinks there is anything 'to get' is either trying to justify their terrible taste in movies or is seriously deluded as to the real purpose of this film which is to make lots and lots of money not to parody the unnecessary i.e. films that were already tongue in cheek in the first instance

This is a deals website not a film blog. Nobody cares what some random on the internet thinks about a movie. This a is a good deal.

This film was perfectly in keeping with cheap, low grade, tacky, low budget horror films of the 70's, 80's and 90's. It isn't meant to be a work of cinematic wonder. It is meant to make to cringe, groan and enjoy the total lack of brain power needed to watch it. It's simply a popcorn shocker. Anyone expecting it to have a strong plot and great acting is, to put it simply, a moron.

It always amazes me that so called intelligent people, will watch a film called Piranha, which is clearly a cheap monster flick, with a weak C grade cast and then moan it was low grade and cheesey. No **** Sherlock!!!

Well I thought this film was pretty weak 2*. Although I did enjoy seeing Jerry O'Connell onscreen.

Quotes
Danni: Nice horn.
Laura Forester: Thanks. Nice boobs.
Danni: Thanks.
Laura Forester: I have a training bra but I don't like to wear it 'cause it itches.
Danni: Tell me about it! Who are you waiting for?
Laura Forester: My brother Jake, he's seventeen. He'll like your boobs too.
Danni: They all do.

Sigh!

It's always interesting reading peoples opinions on HUKD's, seems the concensus here is positive. Whereas Shutter Island (a film I thought excellent), was thought poor in the majority of comments. I am not comparing the films, just the opinions.

Is this where I get my intelligence insulted, for not 'getting' the concept?

Fun film and a great price. Although to be fair Zavvi have been reducing it to this price for about 4 weeks in a row.

I quite like reading HUKDers opinions, if someone posts a deal for a film that i think its utter drivel i'll probably make a comment, but someone will always counteracts with a post in defense of the movie, it amazes me sometimes that people love stuff that i thought was garbage, but we all have different tastes :)

Aye, thanks very much Barry Norman.

I saw this this week in 3D with friends. Pretty damn awful film, and we were made up of cheese, horror, and B Movie fans, and it didnt work on any levels. You do get a couple of nude sequences, which is certainly the highlight amoungnst a lot of lows. Put onto ebay about 5 minutes later, and someone bought its for £2 more than I paid for it, so it worked out in the end. But thats 90 minutes of my life I will never get back...!

i never said it wasn't vulgar, moronic or pointless. in fact these three things i expected (and hoped for) before entering the cinema

a parody is supposed to mock yes, but in a loving way. parody also glorifies.

to make a bold statement about lowest common denominator entertainment being indicative of a person's taste and saying they can only like one type of film is a bit stupid. i like this but then i also like really pretentious films (funny games by haneke for example)

not all films it parodies were tongue in cheek, jaws for example always struck me as a film that was actually trying to be scary (and many people do think it's scary)

by expecting a quality genre defining film with a solid plot, outstanding acting and high production values from a film called piranha 3d that boasts being produced by the same guy as 300 and having an imdb category of comedy horror and thriller...you missed the point of this film

Its a film where you can just switch your brain off for, especially good when your high. At least its got Kelly in it, after seeing her in the flesh in London I've become an instant fan. She is absolutely gorgeous!

"i never said it wasn't vulgar, moronic or pointless. in fact these three things i expected (and hoped for) before entering the cinema"

Of course, as did I but this movie offered nothing else that makes similar movies in this genre a bit of a guilty pleasure.

"to make a bold statement about lowest common denominator entertainment being indicative of a person's taste and saying they can only like one type of film is a bit stupid"

no I didn't say that, I said those that like this film must surely like it for that reason only as in my opinion it failed to deliver anything else.

"having an imdb category of comedy horror and thriller...you missed the point of this film"

Well since I did not laugh once, gasp in horror nor was I thrilled in any way then I guess I did miss the point of this film. Or like I said already it was a very blatant attempt to make a lot of money by making a crude film under the illussion of being a comedy/horror/thriller.

Anyone could see by the way the film was marketed and advertised at the time of release by interviewing those that 'enjoyed the film' that it was a blatant attempt to get bums on seats without really caring what it was they delivered.

Of course no one is expecting a 'genre defining film', to say that is stupid, but I like others such as magicmat were expecting a film that used cheese, b movie horror and parody in a way that entertained.

I am not trying to insult anyone for taste in movies of this genre, my point is it failed at what is suppose to deliver, Worse than that I really believe the makers of this film knew it didn't work but used its slightly more extreme crudeness to get a big enough buzz around the release to make it successfull.
