Director Gore Verbinski and the crew set sail once again for this, the third chapter in the swashbuckling Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy.

Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) is hopelessly trapped in Davy Jones' locker after a harrowing encounter with the dreaded Kracken, and now Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) and Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley) must align themselves with the nefarious Captain Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush) if they hold out any hope of saving their old friend from a fate worse than death.

The East India Trading Company and it's fearsome leader Lord Cutler Beckett (Tom Hollander) have taken control of the ghostly Flying Dutchman and it's Captain Davy Jones (Bill Nighy), and now the baleful Admiral Norrington (Jack Davenport) has taken the helm in a relentless bid to destroy every pirate ship in his path and bring the Age of Piracy to a violent close.

Meanwhile, Will, Elizabeth, and Captain Barbossa navigate treacherous waters and face bitter betrayal as they set sail to gather the only army that can stand up to Beckett - The Nine Lords of the Brethren Court. But Captain Jack Sparrow is one of the Lords, and as long as he's stuck in Davy Jones' locker Beckett and his nefarious armada are sure to emerge victorious.

There's still hope, however, if the heroic team that includes Tia Dalma (Naomie Harris), Pintel (Lee Arenberg), and Ragetti (Mackenzie Crook) can reach exotic Singapore and convince vulpine pirate Sao Feng (Chow Yun-Fat) to provide them with charts and a ship. But even the powerful Brethren Court may need a bit of help from volatile sea goddess Calypso in order to weather the coming storm. With the entire future of the pirate way at stake, everyone will be forced to choose sides while drifting precariously to the edge of the Earth for one final, spectacular battle.

No between you opening the topic and clicking vote and seeing the result, other people obviously voted cold....

I will not vote ... but anyone willing to pay money for this damn awful film wants their head examining!

The first POTC wasOK but the two follow ups are dire beyond belief.

I think the opposite. I think the first one was quite dull and the 2nd and 2rd are awesome.

This could be an interesting thread! Some people LIKE the item and some people DON'T like it. You don't see that very often here so it's going to be fascinating to watch! Will the likes or dislikes win out? Only time will tell. I'm so excited.

I really enjoyed the films but this is a hot deal regardless. It's a really good price for this film, I've not seen it below £7.99

Agreed.

Despite this, it is still a good price.

you can actually get this for cheaper if you have other vouchers.

If you have had a voucher sent to you by cd-wow previously, that only works by clicking a certain link, thenclick on the link given.

Click on the above link for 75p off dvd's, and use that link to cd-wow also (so you have 2 cd-wow windows open now).

In the address bar for the 75p link, the address ends with 17562 (is this the same for everyone?)

On the other address bar, a number will be shown at the end - replace this with the 17562 and press return.

All dvd's should now be 75p cheaper, and your voucher should work (I got potc for £3.24)! Any vouchers above £1 and you'll get it cheaper.

Hoepfully this makes sense!!!

I went through to checkout and was then presented with a payment form from 'Nova' to put my card details in. Never heard of this and didn't want to put my details in so didn't complete the checkout. Did everyone get this method of payment?
