First deal for me, hope you understand!

I've been wanting this for a while and this is the lowest price I have found it so far!

Price comparison can be found @ http://www.find-dvd.co.uk/BUH0089901.htm

Can't go wrong for the full set on blu-ray for under £35 including delivery

By the way, if you can find it cheaper anywhere else, let me know, don't just vote cold!!!!

It's only £12.99 at HMV for the boxed set of "normal" DVD's. Certainly NOT worth the £22 extra to watch on Blu-Ray as Blu-Ray players will upscale any "normal" DVD......

i know what you mean but for a person to go and spend hundreds, even thousands on a HDTV and end up watching an upscaled version on a £40 DVD with a HDMI port is pointless. You need to do your gadgets justice!

Just watch the imax sections from the Dark Knight on a blu ray player and HDTV and you'll know what I mean...

Good price - imo films went badly downhill from the first one - but as always its not about what u like its the price.. so hot

And as for upscaled dvd being in anyway similar to 1080p bd disc, well no just no

I shall join Hana as a viewing/sound snob and agree with the DK IMAX sections - stunning home viewing - now just need 3D to come in and I will be happy ;)

if there's one set of films i want to get on blu-ray it's these. i have the trilogy on dvd (got it for xmas) and i have the second film on blu-ray. some of the scenes on blu-ray were amazing, much better than upscaled dvd. the sound is better on blu-ray too.

this is a good price for the set. voting it cold due to the fact you can get it cheaper on dvd to be upscaled is lunacy! upscaled dvds are no were near as good as 1080p picture on a decent screen. Upscaled dvds are not true hd (as some people belive) and a blu ray version of a film is worth the extra money if you are serious about watching stuff in high def.

Think I'll wait until the next one in the series is out before I buy the BR set, I know that'll be a while.....

I think this is a good price - especially as these films seem to have dissappeared from the 3 for 2 offers since Christmas; rather annoying as I picked up the first two, just need the last one

Like others I would also say from my viewing of the first film that there is far more detail in the blu than the DVD and the sound is also a lot better

trust me when i say this it is defo worth the extra for it on blu ray and for all 3 it is a bargain as most trilogys are priced around £50 you could go for the dvd if your into you blu rays defo worth the money
