Good tyres but outclassed by the newer Dunlop Bluresponse.
Probably only a tenner a corner difference once you paid for fitting etc

Good deal

Correct, much less than a tenner difference. Cold for me, as I mentioned in the Goodyear post, the Auto express winner (Dunlop Blue response) is only £65.47 fitted(minus 5% as mentioned in the Bridgestone post) . Unless you don't pay to have tyres fitted this is a much better deal. The Dunlop offers A rated wet grip too.

Need some decent Pirelli tyres for my Benz W05 Hybrid 13 inch rims no cheese tyres though

Would these fit 195/55/r16 alloys on a corsa?

they would but you don't want unmatched tyres really so you would have to replace all 4

Thought it was ok to mix tyres as long as kept them the same on each axle, some people swap front / rear around to get even wear.

Best tyres should always be at the back.

If you have un even wear there is something wrong, get your tracking/ alignment checked

This is one that you will often find conflicting reports over. You absolutely could have different tyres on the front to what you put on the back and strictly speaking from an MOT perspective you would only need to keep them paired across the axle. The problem with this is that the 195/55 has a different rolling radius than a 205/55. Now you find a lot of track cars and old bmw's will often have wider tyres on the back for numerous reasons but truth be told the only thing that is going to happen when you start replicating that on newer cars is throw the ABS warning lights into havoc. I did the exact scenario above in my old Corolla Tsport and I ended up getting pulled around every time the abs light would incorrectly come on. While this part is anecdotal, it is a fairly common problem that you will find numerous people having.

Anyone heard of (Novex tyres) i was Quoted £130 fitted, for two at national tyres?

My SEAT Ibiza came with these from the factory (bought new) and they are terrible tyres.

I have these on my FTO on the front. Seem OK. Cost me more than this. Wish I had something less boring to say really.

Paid £124.99 for 2 of the Dunlops yesterday at Formula One Autocenter in Slough. He priced it up at £145 until I told him they are £125 on the site.

Always looking for a deal on 215 55 16 tyres on here, but never seem to find any. Heat added all the same for this deal.

Possibly because they are selfish and don't want to see 'endless' posts on something they have no interest in. Or.
Possibly because they realise it's not a great deal considering one can have a better tyre fitted for less money (unless you pay less than average to have your tyres fitted).
I'm not out to rain on your deal, just trying to get safer tyres on the road. :-)
