£13.91 is the cheapst price I could find for the blu-ray version.

Play.com are normally competative and have this at £17.99.

For those who have not seen this, it's simply fantastic... and even better in HD.

they might well be good, but are they worth £14? hmm.

Are these just the short clips they usually have as an extra on a disc?

Yes they are  Got a copy with Ratatouille on Blu Ray, but no way I would pay nearly £14 for it

I don't think so - not voting cold 'cos it's still cheaper than other sites.

That's correct, so to get all the shorts you would have to buy a lot of different movies.

I got this with Ratatouille, it will not be of interest to your children. These are old animations from a company developing 3d animating techniques. In short a bit of history being made, but NOT the polished entertainment of the feature length pixar movies. These are very basic, and you might be able to find them on you a video streaming site, to see what i mean. They're nothing like the shorts that they release with each movie.

Basic animation techniques?... hardly

For those interested in sneak peek take a look at the trailer on play.com

Not worth getting for the price. The clips are good, but very short. Will probably add up to about 15 mins worth of stuff, and the older one's aren't as impressive as the newer stuff.

Detailed review of the Blueray version here to help anyone make up their mind.

I recently bought the special Ratatouille/Pixar Shorts double Disc Bluray (@ PlayTrade for £16.49) as I wanted both discs. I previously had Pixar Shorts in DVD and this is even better. A friend who is another fan of Pixar films was very happy to get my old DVD.

My kids loved this DVD. There's some gems on it. I paid less a couple of years ago though.

Good info on the DVD here:

I picked this up on DVD in Tesco a few weeks ago (online its currently showing at £7.97) . Not as good quality as blueray but it is enough for what is just a DVD of short clips.

By the way my son loves it!

PS - This is Volume 1 which suggests that there is more to come.
