Bargain for not one...but two excellent shows on blu-ray!

The Pixies are one of the most influential American acts of all time. Initially spanning the late '80s and early '90s, they created the blueprint for alternative rock that would be followed and embellished upon by everyone from grunge to Britpop. After 10 years apart, the Pixies reformed in 2004. This BluRay disc features the Pixies in the intimate Paradise Club in Boston.
Frank Black, Kim Deal, Joey Santiago, and David Lovering also step up to the stage in Newport, Rhode Island's Atlantic to offer acoustic versions of twenty-two classic Pixies tunes in this concert captured live in August of 2005. Featured songs include "Bone Machine", "Monkey Gone to Heaven", "Wave of Mutilation", "Gouge Away", "Nimrod's Son", and "Where is My Mind".

Special Features:

'Newport rehearsals (includes acoustic version of Debaser)' featurette, Newport Photo Gallery, Original home movie footage of the Pixies live at TT The Bear’s in Boston from October 1986 performing tracks including the Holiday Song, I’m Amazed, Rock A My Soul, Broken Face, I’ve Been Tired, Caribou and Down To The Well
