These are marketed under the name 'x-sell', they are actually quite tasty. They make products for the catering industry. Heron also usually stock 'X-Sell' breaded chicken fillets/burgers assorted fish too. The quality of the food is better than you might expect from the packaging. Far better than most frozen foods.
Hot from me!

A few years ago Heron used to sell apple flans in plastic wrap, no box, for a quid. They were made in Germany and were amongst the nicest puddings I have ever eaten. I wouldn't be put off by this not being a branded product. As mentioned, they are probably produced for the catering industry so likely to be just as nice as any cheap frozen supermarket pizza.

TBH they didn't look bad in the shop, plenty of toppings. A few were misshapen, but worth a go I thought

I overheard the lady that works there say that the xsell brand is MandS items rebranded. Or items made for M and S , but didnt quite make it to M and S.

I think xsell are various brands re packaged. I bought frozen cooked sausages, tasted just the same a walls ready cooked sausage.
They sell some high quality food such as fish cakes that taste like m&s ones.

Thanks for that. I was hugely disappointed when Heron stopped selling them, though I managed to get the last few for 50p. Will be checking out for them at Costco next visit .

I buy these from Fultons - guessing same and yes, they are the catering ones a lot of people here get excited about when an over-rated chain brand pub sells them for £5 each with a terrible pint.

Hot.
