Love these pizzas. Dunno if it's nationwide but this week they all seem to be half price at Lowestoft branch of Mozzas.
These are the big 12" ones, "hand made" in the chill cabinet, not frozen.

Like the Sloppy Giuseppe

Awful pizzas...always on offer, they obviously can't get rid of them! ...Chicago Town 'Takeaway' pepperoni is the best.

had one last night after reading how nice they are, my opinion - no better than some of the cheaper ones, not that much cheese on and I felt they were a bit dry and yes we did add oil before cooking.

Thats right....my fav as well! So these pizza dont compare then?

Pizza express pizzas are way overpriced, and always taste awful. Hardly any toppings too. Second the recommendation for Chicago Town above

best oven pizzas out there. Love them sloppy's. I add a bit of goats cheese on them.

But if like those overly cheesed, extra thick base type pizzas, then this isnt for you. i.e. chicago styled ones.

Good deal, but prefer Dr Oetker :)

the best pizza you can buy at the supermarket. Tase like pizza from the restaurant or carry out. unlike the other brands mentioned.

Chicago town takeway pepperoni with the sauce filled crust is unbeatable.

Mmmm, Sloppy Giuseppe.... Give me Pizza Express over the generic Pizza Hut/Chicago Town American-style pizzas any day. At least they are halfway to being pizza as the Italians originally intended.

Hot from me.

Voted cold!

We had a Sloppy Giuseppe at the weekend and was complete garbage. They really taste factory made. Best pizzas for the price are Asda's 14 inch with 4 toppings made in front of you at pizza counter for £3.18.

I will definitely say that - after spending some time in Italy, the Pizza Express pizzas are far more 'authentic' than any other I've tried over here.

Deep pan pizzas are just ridiculous and for fat American people :(

i Had one of these last night, and it remains my favourite supermarket pizza!

Hmmmmu wasn't that impressed tbh...I did de frost it tho which is says not to doubt that would make much of a difference tho.

Never had a better shop bought pizza, ever.
1Jim0 - i take it you bought it fresh, froze it and defrosted it then?
IMHO these fresh (not 90% weight frozen dough) pizzas are second to none - nothing like the frozen chaff from 'Goodfellas' etc.. I wouldn't buy them for £5, but at £2.49, yeah!
Still buying the "American simple" Pepperoni (put a bit of garlic and ground jalapeno on) and the Sloppy Giuseppe which I hadn't tried before but it really nice. Saving me loads on takeaway treats as it's the only shop bought pizza I ever bought that compares in my opinion.

Just a bit peeved that American Hot hasn't turned up in my Morrisons...

Not sure why but the smaller Pizza Express pizza's ( currently half price at Sainsbury's ) seem to taste better than these big ones ?
