sounds expensive

Not unless you usually eat in Wetherspoons, You're looking at £2-£3 for the wine alone.
Good deal tah

I had a question about using Tesco Clubcard vouchers for this deal and found the answer in the terms and conditions:
Not to be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer, including Tesco vouchers.
Not realy hot. A bottle of wine is about £7 in many bars now (e.g. weatherspoons) and you could get better healthier dishes for £13 for two.. In fact I regularly do happy hour in my local italian and it work out under £20 for two for a starter and main course inc tip.
#5
mmmm....pizza.... HOT! :P
#6
This is a good deal, given the regular prices for the mains and drink alone.

If Wetherspoons is your thing when dining out - go for it!

Ridiculous.

If you want pub/posh pub food, then goto to pub. This is for a restaurant. Also offers and happy hour in any restaurant is a good deal. This is hot for the fact they are a huge decent chain, where after cinema/bowling or other such activity you can go and eat relatively cheaper than off the a la carte menu.

Eating out, anywhere (well mostly) isn't healthy. A cheese pizza from any italian restaurant is bad for you.

Simples.

Don't think it's a good deal.
#9
It's a good deal if you go to pizza express. Voted hot.
#10
Good deal, shame not all pizzas are on there. Still hot from me though...
#11
Good deal as indicated by the temp ...... mmmmm doughballs
#12
Sounds too bready to me...dough balls or garlic brade and then a pizza ? Why not a salad to start then pizza? Or i suppose garlic bread to start and then a mass produced lasagna?!
God knows how i vote but this is luke warm at best..
Go to Loch Fyne for a starter ,a main and a glass of wine for £12 plus unlimited bread!
#13
Cold - the Orange offer is the same price for two people although excluding the wine. And, there's an offer that was emailed around with a glass of wine in it with BOGOF on the pizza IIRC.
#14
Glass of wine is around £3.50 alone at Pizza Express so this is a good deal.

Could have a bit more of a selection on the starters.

So...not really the same offer then, is it?

It was BOGOF on main courses including pizza, and it didn't include a glass of wine.

Hot from me an avid fan of Pizza Express and its pizzas, saves me a bit over £4.
A glass of pinot costs £4.25 so thats free

Like someone else said, good deal if you already go to Pizza Express. Because of this I've voted hot. But the restaurant is overpriced imo.

I had a voucher last week for a local 2 for 1 (Spirit) pub for 2 main meals, a starter to share and alcoholic drink each, all for £10. The food is far better too. Even without this voucher it's still a lot cheaper than Pizza Express. The point is, there are better alternatives.

No, but in comparison it's poor (as two for a tenner including starters is far better value).

No, it was BOGOF including a free glass of wine each, actually.

good deal if you use pizza express, it is over priced but having been once I will definitely go back although maybe just restrict it to the offers.
We had bogof on the main meal section so that wasn't bad. £15 for 2 of us with a shared starter, 2 cokes & 2 pizzas & we only managed to eat half a pizza each so had enough for another meal.

Cold for me, the doughballs/garlic bread are fatty and greasy and a tenner for a glass of wine and a pizza isn't that cheap. Like everyone else has said, go on a Wednesday do the bogof ask for a jug of tap water and then go to the wetherspoons round the corner for a glass of wine for half the price. A night out for 2 for a tenner bargain!

although not associated with this deal, if you do enjoy Pizza Express and dine more than 4 times a year check out The Pizza Express Club. (http://www.pizzaexpress.com/our-restaurants/join-our-club.aspx). I have been a member for 3 years now and it has saved me a small fortune.

Pizza Hut for the gullible middle classes. Overpriced tastless rubbish.

Not sure I'd like to pay £45 despite the benefits because I'd feel as if I was confined to eating at Pizza Express, which is obviously what they want. Interesting for those who are interested though. I liked this especially:

"Conduct your own undercover mystery diner visit - complete a questionnaire regarding a visit to PizzaExpress and we'll reward you with a £10 voucher":-D

that makes sense, complain about it being 'too bready' then rep an offer with 'unlimited bread'....

Tbh thats pretty great, even if you only go 4 times a year you get your money back with the quarterly vouchers.

Its not a bad deal. But not a super hot one

Lets do the math: Starter = £2.30 Main = £8.00 average Wine = £3.55 for the cheapest
S+M+W= £13.85

Saving £3, ok fair enough if you are one person.

However the same meal (for 2) using 2 for one main vouchers would cost just under £20

S+M+W= £13.85 x 2 = £27.70
Minus £8 BOGOF = £19.70

and you get a bit more choice, so im neutral on this one ;)

Oh and furthermore:

What an ignorant comment. Pizzahut is of a much lower quality and based on a MEDIUM pizza from the favourites menu (equiv size + toppings i would say) actually costs the approx the same or more PER Pizza + you get a nicer atmosphere and better variety in Pizza express. I would actually look over menus before making such ridiculous statements
#26
no bruscehetta or polla ad astra?!?! o cack!

o well still cant deny its hot!!
#27
We eat at Pizza Express a fair bit so this is a reasonable deal....ta ;-)

You cant compare two things that aren't the same in this context however...

I've used the BOGOF offer from Pizza Express several times and there was never a glass of wine included. I guess you got the special BOGOF offer that no one else did.

You against the Italians or just cheese pizza?
