I was in Tesco's earlier. They've got Margerita Pizzas for £5 with 'Get Dough Balls Free' stickers on them. The offer doesn't go through the tills and so you get a double the overcharge back, which is £4.58 in total. Making pizza and dough balls 42p!

Eh?!? I'm not quite sure that I understand this so lets go through it slowly to clarify...
So, Tesco are not doing the 'Get Dough Balls Free' promotion but you get them anyway?
You pay £5, get a £4.58 refund so therefore only pay 42p for lots of nice pizza?
Are the dough balls any good & is this store specific?

pizza express pizza's are over price rubbish, avoid anyway.

as for the deal chances are its been updated or they'll fob you off with a refund or give you the product and not the refund as stated even if it's in their terms to do so

Tesco's price promise is that if they overcharge you, they'll refund you double the amount. The Pizzas are stickered that you get free dough balls, but they're not when you go through the till. Dough balls are £2.29. They therefore overcharged you by £2.29 and so refund double.

I guess by the cold votes that some people can't be pleased......

As I read it, you paid £5.00 for the pizza and £2.29 for the doughballs, making a total of £7.29 spent. You then got a Double The Difference refund of £4.58 meaning you ended up paying £2.71.
