If you follow the instructions and pour a spoon full of olive oil over the top then its one of my fave pizza's. Not as good as actually visiting pizza express but close :-)

these are soooooooooo nice

At least if I cook it at home, it will actually be cooked correctly.
Not burnt or soggy as they have been every time I have visited Pizza Express.
Nor will it take 45 mins to get to the table :x
Think I would go for the Taste the difference one more though.
Still voted hot as alright for people who like pizza express.

Can't you put olive oil on any thin base pizza to give it the pizza express taste?

I tried this pizza for the first time last week and found that it was similiar to the Dr Otekars pizza which is on offer at somerfield for £1.35. Next time i'll try it with olive oil

Good offer

Unless i'm mistaken i'm sure I paid a little less than this at Tescos the other day for these. Can't be sure though. They are nice pizzas but I wouldn't pay full price for them, too small :-P

Didn't know about the olive oil thing..

Sainers change their offers so often though, in the last 4 days we have had

Make up their mind put the good offer back on!

Being the gypsies they are, Sainsbury's feel the need to charge £4.19 for this same offer in their central rip off stores!

Drizzle some decent indate olive oil over the pizza, I also get a pastry brush and brush olive oil all around the crust, leave the underside as it is. Crisps up really nicely while still being alittle bit chewy inside.

The amount of peoples houses I go to and the olive oil is always out of date....minging

lightly dust the tray/stone you bake them on with some flour or use a wire rack to get them crispy underneath.

I agree with these excellent tips and do the same, it makes a lot of difference and takes no time at all.

I saw this deal in the local Sainsbury's yesterday, which has been ongoing for the last month or so, but all the Pizza's stocked under this offer were not included in the offer - very very cheeky and aggressive sales technique! I saw a few people taking two pizzas each e.g. American Hot and then getting charged twice for them - without them noticing it, as you trust the supermarket(or do you?) Although, I never check my receipts properly and being through the same experience feel a little bit wiser now. I felt compelled to tell the person in front of me; but I didn't, because they might think I am a loon!

In hindsight I regret this decision and posting here, in an effort to redeem myself as a consumer. Also, as a thanks to all the people who have had the courage to inform me whilst I have been surfing the aisles and putting things in my basket willy-nilly that a particular 2for1 or similar offer does not really favour me. I am not the most cultured person on the planet - but the term 'Caveat emptor' had a huge relevance in this situation.

I think Aldis fresh stonebaked Pizzas are hard to beat to be honest and they are only around £1.09 each
