This isn't the best pizza deal in terms of the amount of food you receive but it's good value when you consider the 2 cinema tickets for the kids would cost about £10, so everything else on the table is under a tenner.

The deal includes:

Any Large Pizza, normally £12 * Potato Wedges normally £3 * Garlic Bread normally £2 * 2 unlimited trips to the Ice cream factory (i'm not sure how much this is exactly but i can't imagine it's going to be any less than £5-£6)
2 child cimema tickets, my local charges £10 (£5 each ticket)

This means this deal is worth about £32-£33, saving you around £13 and this is available to eat at the restaurant but as this obviously doesn't include any drinks, i would recommend getting unlimited refills for slightly extra than the standard drink price, as there's a lot of food on the table, even if you get 2 drinks per person, it works out a lot cheaper than the standard price.

Hope this helps. :)

By the way, there's loads of great films to see for all the family this summer including the newly released Shrek 3, which i saw last night and it was quite entertaining and the simpsons movie which is also out later this month on top of all the other great films such as Fantastic four, Evan Almighty, Harry Potter, Transformers, Rush Hour 3 etc. :)

Yeah, i think the meal can be eaten any day but the cinema tickets is for monday-thursday because it's the offpeak period for the cinemas (friday-sunday being the busiest times).

last time we went to pizza hut we paid £5.99 each & got small pizza each, garlic bread or wedges (had one of each, each & shared) a desert each, thought this was better than the buffet & they did it on a sunday!

The cinema tickets are only for Monday-Thursday, so this offer is for any time and the buffet offer you mentioned is only for lunch, so that's a lot more limited than you assumed.

In my opinion, as i mentioned in the OP, the meal it self isn't amazing value, as you'd only be saving yourself a few pounds but if you want to take 2 kids or make 2 trips to the cinema with all the great films already available and for the rest of the summer, then this is a good deal.

If you don't have any kids or know of any kids that want to go to watch a film, then i recommend there other offers, if you do however, i believe this to be the best meal deal they currently have available.

The £5.49 lunchtime pizza, pasta, salad Buffet is excellent of course but i've gone with my gf and her kid and they normally only have about 3 small slices each and the kid wants to jump straight to dessert, which you don't get with the buffet.

Not sure why Monday to Thursday is such a problem - can't children go to the cinema Monday to Thurday??

Plus school holidays are starting soon anyway, so more flexibility for having evenings out with the kids.

I think that is quite a good evening out deal for a family, but of course they do a variety of deals and so you need to choose the one that is right for you and what you want.

mon-thurs was only a problem to me today .. as i wanted to take the kids tonight.
i work evenings so wont be able to do it mon-thurs till end july if the offer is still on.

The Cinema tickets is available for a few months, i think it was until October but it's definately no earlier than after the school holidays have finished, so you can have your meal tonight and take the kids out to a film whenever it's convenient for all of you. :)

ok sorry maybe it was £6.95, but I still thought a bargain, was nice to get a desert rather than the buffet where you just eat as much pizza as you can, just because...well because you can!! made a nice change! and my 2 little ones shared a meal deal!
