I posted this originally eighteen months ago, and noticed Pizza Hut are still doing this deal, so thought it was worthy of a repost to remind people.
You can get a Pizza or Pasta or Salad, and garlic bread and a drink for £5.00 per person. (It has gone up by a pound since my last post, bloody recession)
I believe this is instore only. Apparently you will need to ask as they may not have the menus out for this. Its on 3PM to 6PM Monday to Friday.

is it online only?

wonder if this could be used with the kids eat free offer ... 4 of us for £10 sounds like a very good deal
#4
This was only £4 a few weeks ago, so perhaps not such a good deal afterall.

No it doesn't! I just called them
#6
do they not still do the all you can eat for a fiver lunch offer then?

that saw me through uni, that did!
#7
Voted cold. This is a 42% increase to the same Happy hour menu available until this price hike.
#8
Cold from me. Originally launched @ £4, infact it was £3.5 as you could get the 4 for £14. Then they just made it a flat rate £4... now it's £5. No thanks.

20% price increase during a recession???

£4 to £5 is a 25% increase.
#10

Thats £6.59 now.

They've actually made a change to this happy hour menu. You can now have a pan pizza instead of just the italian which is was when it was £4. Still a good deal IMO!

No you dont. You have to pay another 50p for unlimited refills.
#13
We had this deal last night - I thought it was pretty good.

50p extra for unlimited drink refills, and £1 extra if you want dessert.

You can't pair it with the 'Kids Eat Free' offer - for that you need to order a main from the regular menu.

The four of us still ate well for £21, which I thought was pretty decent (haven't been to Pizza Hut for years, so I can't compare it to previous offers). The kids had ice cream coming out of their ears, after their visit to the 'Ice Cream Factory'
#14
It's not bad. I got the cheese pasta, garlic bread, and Soo got chicken salad and lots of 7-up (I only drink coffee, which they were kind enough to let me refill, they don't usually though).

Shame the price has went up but you still get a good feed.
#15
it was £4 gone up by 25% COLD
#16
think it used to start at 2pm as well not 3pm like now
#17
its a great deal. I tried the £4 deal and didnt like the wafer thin pizza's at all and often got through more than 1 drink. Its only an extra £1 and you can get a deep pan pizza, an extra 50p for unlimited refills of your drink and £1 for a desert (which is good for unlimited ice cream).

Admitidly not as good for the people who like thin pizza's and only get through 1 drink but im happy. Oh and they do have seperate menues for this offer. Im guessing the stores that dont want to advertise it forget to pass them out.
#18
How big is the pizza you get with this deal?
#19
We used to always pop in on our way to the cinema when it was just £4 a few weeks ago. By the time you have an extra side to share and leave a tip its now more like £30 so the increase has persuaded me to give it a miss from now on.

Cold for me
#20
Hmmmm, deep fried pizza.
#21
the pizza isnt that big at all....considering it takes about 2 of them to fill me.......i dont think this is a hot deal considering the price has gone up a £1 and we lose an hour from 2pm to 3pm
#22
You'd have to pay me a fiver to eat the gunge they serve at The Hut!
#23
Caspian pizza ftw..
#24
Don't like voting cold on deals but this one I had to. Didn't think much of it when it was £4 really but now it's a £5 it's even worse.

Small pizza, bit of garlic bread and a fizzy drink for a fiver. No thanks!

Seems to me people are missing the point (shock horror). Is this a good deal for pizza with garlic bread from Pizza Hut? The fact that a similar offer was a quid cheaper in the past is irrelevant. I used to get chips for about 12p a portion, but times change. Don't vote unless you can think clearly - this looks a cracking deal - shame I'm off the stodge for a couple of months.
#26
pizza deal is good, i had a chicken salad and it was pretty crap 2 tiny pieces of chicken you could hardly see placed ontop of a giant lettuce leaf, on top of that the garlic bread was 2 pieces, spose its only a fiver but still, good if you want a little pizza!

So anyone who disagrees with you isn't thinking clearly. Rather patronising. And your comparison to a bag a chips at 12p is ridiculous. We're not talking about a particular price from over 30 years ago, we're mentioning a price increase of 25% in just 1 year. The deal was mediocre last year, it's therefore worse now. Simple logic.

Why vote cold? It is an informative deal, whether you appreciate it or not, if you don't like it, walk on by, but a fiver for food before the flicks or a night out is spot on. If that isn't a deal you obviously shop at Lidl!!

Heat added just for reminding me where I can get cheap pizza!
#29
It's not a bad offer, but it's not hot really.

The starters are half portions, (2 not 4 garlic breads) the pizzas are individual, there's a choice of like 4 toppings, the chicken salad I got was literally a chicken mcnugget cut into 4 pieces and laid on a giant lettuce leaf with four cherry tomatos cut in half, and the drink isn't refillable. So, it's not BAD, but it's not brilliant.
#30
cold i can have cheese on toast and tap water at home for less
#31
Dammit this forum never works on Chrome so I can't edit the above.

Was going to say the toppings are all random, not nice ones like farmhouse or meat feast ... stuff like sweetcorn and onion and stuff ...
#32
sorry wrong thread.

Has to be hot for me, you've got a 3 course meal with unlimited soft drink for £6.50 (& unlimited ice cream if you choose ice cream factory.)
#34
I'd rather do one of the 2-for-1(ish) deals at Pizza Express and drink water, TBH. Works out the same or cheaper...
#35
who cares if it's gone up to £5 it's still a good deal, don't vote it cold because of that...

Your reply proves my point, and your inability to understand a) basic comprehension and b) the point of the site. Let me explain with a couple of examples.
Let's assume I wish to buy a camera - let's call it CAMERA A. The RRP is £60.00 and I trawl the internet and high street stores and find it at £40.00 and post it as a deal on here. Now a few things will probably happen. Some people - with perfect justification - might point out that CAMERA A is a pile of rubbish, and I might like to consider buying CAMERA B. All such information can be useful, but if that person then votes my deal cold, they are not understanding the site. Someone else might point out that last week CAMERA A was on sale at £35.00 from another site. Well, that's frustrating, but I can't buy CAMERA A from that site for less than £45.00 today, and so last week's price has no bearing on my deal, if this person votes my deal cold, they are misunderstanding the site. Now a third person comes along and says, "hold on boyo, you can buy CAMERA A today from a third shop for £38.00". This and only this makes my deal cold, and only then provided this third shop is a trusted supplier and has stock etc - now are you beginning to understand?
Now, lets assume i wish to go to a restaurant called Pizza Hut and i want to buy a deep pan pizza, some garlic bread and a fizzy drink. Someone says - hey go between 3pm and 6pm and it's a fiver. Someone might caomment - Pizza Hut is rubbish and I wouldn't eat their pizzas if you paid me - all very interesting and helpful, but really doesn't have any bearing on the deal. Someone else says that this was a quid cheaper in the past - yes, it was actually a different type of pizza, but it was a pound cheaper"! Well, thanks for the information, but that's not going to help me get my deep pan pizza, garlic bread and fizzy pop today, and has no bearing on the deal.
Now unless you can come to me and say, "mate, I have found that go between 6pm and 8pm and the exact same deal is cheaper" I don't see how you can vote this deal cold.
Dawning comprehension?

You need to get out a bit more graybags, what a tremendous tirade of meandering prose all for a pizza hut deal!

If people view the deal as poor in relation to what else is available on the market, they are entitled to vote accordingly. End of story.

You see, I agree with that (including the snipe), but I think at the very least a "this deal is much better value IMHO" is needed.

Fair enough.

I voted this cold as there are frequent deals from their competitor Pizza Express offering BOGOF on their pizzas. Their pizza is far better, therefore a better deal.

Pizza Hut food is diabolical.

Well said mate.

LOL. Apart from the fact that complete load of guff made little real sense it also onfirms what an arrogant individual he is, trying to dictate HIS rules on how people should vote.

My view is if a deal was fairly crap last year when it was £4, then now that it's £5 it's even worse. If you have difficulty comprehending that logic, or if it doesn't comply with YOUR logic gauge, then too bad, you can stuff CameraA or CameraB whichever is your preference where the sun doesn't shine, boyo.
