Sometimes a "deal" that has that feel good factor just works!
This is one of those things that is a deal no matter the price. Heat added ;)

Watched about half of this on sky movies a while back but didn't get to finish the rest. so thinking of picking this up as it seemed like a great film.

Brilliant film

R.I.P. John Candy, a great loss to comedy......

worth a purchase, particularly if you've only ever repeatedly watched it on TV during afternoon showings. i must have watched my recorded-from-TV video tape over a hundred times before getting the DVD and was amazed to find I'd been watching a cleaned-for-TV version all those times, as was clearly evident during the rental car sequence...!!!

Watched this last night.

Awesome film

You wanna hurt me? Go right ahead if it makes you feel any better. I'm an easy target. Yeah, you're right, I talk too much. I also listen too much. I could be a cold-hearted cynic like you... but I don't like to hurt people's feelings. Well, you think what you want about me; I'm not changing. I like... I like me. My wife likes me. My customers like me. 'Cause I'm the real article. What you see is what you get.

I'd be able to sit through the most boring insurance seminars with a smile on my face. People will come up to me and ask "how do you do it" and I'll say "because I've been with Dell Griffith!". And do you know what they'll say? They'll say "Shower curtain ring guy? I know what you mean!".

Great, great movie! RIP John Candy and RIP John Hughes - what a director he was. This, Uncle Buck, Ferris Bueller, The Breakfast Club - an absolute genius

Had forgotten about all this. It's a quality film.

Worked out that I got this for 60p as it's in the Rewind To The 80s Collection when I got it for just over £6.

Comedy gold.

Great film. Can't believe that Paramount didnt make more effort with the film's anniversary when they released the 'Special Edition' of the film recently. There's an alleged 3 hour version of the film in existence (albeit in bits) locked away in their vaults and we get ONE deleted scene? C'mon Paramount.... pull your socks up and release it already ;)

Anyway - hot. Great film. One of my faves.

agree with all coments, one of the best films ever!!!

Have to agree. Best film ever. Sad and funny at the same time.

I love it so much I had 'every time you go away' as the first song at my wedding! :)
