next cheapest is £7.45 @ Hut. Great movie I love it, really funny

Steve Martin and John Candy star in John Hughes’ classic tale of holiday travel gone awry. Neal Page (Martin) is an uptight advertising executive trying to get home to Chicago for Thanksgiving. When his flight is rerouted to Wichita, he reluctantly partners with Del Griffith (Candy), an obnoxious yet loveable salesman. Together, they embark on a cross-country adventure that includes various modes of transportation, hilarious mishaps, and unforgettable rental car shenanigans. Planes, Trains and Automobiles is “a screwball comedy with a heart” (Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun-Times). Loaded with special features, the “Those Aren’t Pillows!” Edition is a perfect holiday treat that lasts all year.

Spew your negativity elsewhere, your average viewer isn't going to see half the problems that site states the blu ray version has.

You're going the wrong way!
One of my all time favourites, if only I had a blu-ray player.

You probably watched an ITV cut. If it didn't have that scene I'd ask for my money back though!

I'd like to know for sure that scene is in - I saw the film in the cinema and cried with laughter, then watched it on TV later and the scene was cut. Can anyone confirm it's on the bluray?

Very comical yet quite emotional too

I miss great films like this. No need for a massive budget or cgi effects for a good film.

Thank you for this. Anyone with an ounce of sense who already owns the DVD should be interested in the quailty of a Blu-ray before deciding whether to buy the same film again. Even someone who doesn't own the DVD should read the reviews on the transfer to make a decision on whether to buy this particular release or wait longer in the hope that someone will bring out a better transfer, which may or may not happen.

With regards to the film, it's one of my all time favourites ! :-)
