Not entirely sure. I'm waiting on it myself.

Waiting for the 3d version :)

As good as the series is, I personally don't think 3D will be any good.

Are you a 3D hater? Some people just don`t like it.
Or do you have a technical reason?

No I do like it but only certain films, 3D is dead IMO. Had a 3D TV and rarely used it due to basically zero content. My favourite 3D film is Avatar but I haven't watched 3D in years.

Unfortunately the first Planet Earth in this pack isn't the 'Special Edition' so is missing all the 6th disc containing the Planet Earth diaries and other extras. I would always recommend finding that version as it adds so much more to the show.

You trying to say that 3D TV's were a fad :o? and not a clever piece of marketing hype :o

3D does have 30% colour loss. That's enough for me to never use it.

Isn't everything a marketing hype? I think so.

Tell about it! Apparently they're upgrading iPlayer to handle 4k next year, you can watch a test clip of the show I believe on a Panasonic TV.

That came up on iPlayer for me on Saturday, it seemed to be a short test for their version of HDR (which I don't have on my set), even just in 4K it looked stunning. Can't wait for a 4K Blu-Ray

a 4k blu ray might be some way off. If netflix can't be arsed to release 4k versions of their shows its a bad sign.... and they make loads of them
