Planet X (great cycling supplier) have just released their new jerseys and bib shorts. Unfortunately they say they were packed slightly damp which means they have to shift them quick.
This means they are selling them all off for up to 75% off the normal selling price.
I have an older Planet X jersey and it is spot on (I also have a Planet X bike which is also spot on).
They have 2000 units according to the website, and when they are sold they are sold.
Please note from the jersey sizing point of view, if they are the same size as the older ones, then they are Italian sizing- i.e. small fitting. I am six foot, 33 inch waist and I need an XL- so I would recommend you order on the large side- for example if you normally wear a medium size top (non cycling) then you will probably need a large or even XL.
Please note that they say these are sold on a no returns basis and some may have slight marks on caused by the damp etc, but at these prices for this quality kit I can certainly live with it.
There is also a P&P charge which was waived on my order as I got two over £20.

Great find...Cheers

No return basis?

Would have thought that would be illegal.

Yes- Distance Selling Regulations make it illegal - they clearly do not realise this, but if you wanted to return it you could force the issue. As I said though at 9.99 for a new season quality cycling jersey, the value is fabulous.

Excellent - new to cycling but went for one short sleeved and one long sleeved. I'm usually a small but went for medium based on the advice on sizing.

I could probably argue the point if I need to return them, but cheap as chips and easy to sell on to people on bike forums, etc, if need be.

Size Guide (inches) S M L XL XXL
Chest (inches) 34-36 36-38 38-40 40-42 42-44
Waist (inches) 24-26 26-28 28-30 30-32 34-36

So most people will want Large and upwards. What VERY bizarre sizes.
XXL already sold out, which at 34-36" isn't very Extra Extra if you ask me.

Great deal thanks!

Hows the sizing? I'm a similar size to you (6 foot, 39" chest and 32" waist)...Would you still recommend the XL now you've tried it on? Or should I go for the L?

For me, XL is spot on. They are fairly close fitting. I think it depends on your build. To give you an idea, I am 85kg with a fairly broad back, my chest is around 40. I certainly would not have wanted to go to a large, but you might just get away with it if you like your cycling gear tight. I have some tighter gear, but not much tighter. If in doubt, I do not think an XL on you would be too large, but not very, very tight. If it doubt you may want to err on side of caution and go XL.
I can confirm with mine, there is absolutely nothing wrong (no marks, no run labels etc) on my log sleeve jersey (blue), short sleeve (yellow) or the bib tights- perhaps a slightly musty smell but to be honest if I had bought these as 'perfect' I would not have known any different, so perhaps I got lucky, or maybe they are sending the best ones out first? The bib tights are great- similar to a pair I paid £50 for. I should also say that despite being just shy of 6 foot, the XL bib tights are the right length for me.

Thanks Wakey! I couldnt decide in the end so I bought both sizes! If the L fits i'll keep the XL for winter and wear some base layers underneath. If not i'll sell it on!

Ordered a long sleeve in XL, very faint dampish smell which has washed out fine, otherwise no problem. Great quality jersey - I'm 6ft 3", 42" chest an the XL is a perfect fit. Heat added.

short sleeve = 9.99
Long sleeve = 14.99
Bib tights = 19.99

and as pointed out - its illegal for them to say no returns under dist selling law

so cold just for them trying it on - a reputable company wouldnt and shouldnt state that

I asked to cancel an order and they just stated "already posted, sorry" - no indication of giving refund etc.

I sent a second email requesting a swap of sizes,,,, no reply as of yet. I would be cautious of dealing with this guys
