I'm guessing the cold voters compare it to the 0.59 iPhone version or the recently expired 2,29 Steam special offer.

I got it for the same price but I have to say it was worth a lot more than the 0,59 I paid for it. Not to mention that having a box and manual always adds value, you can have 10,000 paid apps on your iphone but it still won't make your iphone all that much more valuable, whereas if you sell 10,000 pc copies on eBay you make a fortune.

Nevertheless, I think that this should game have a 15 pound RRP

it was a great game on the iPhone to kill five minutes (or more!), not sure how well it translates to the PC though

Bizarre argument to make. I voted cold based on the fact that is was half the price on steam and the mac app store less than a week ago. So unlike as stated now isn't the time to buy, last week was.

Owning a hard copy of a cheap game is not going to add any worthy resale value. Not sure why you then go on to compare apples to oranges (iOS to PC).

Great on the PC too, not sure about the other PC wannabes. Why do silly people buy other platforms when they know they are going to be held to ransom on additional future purchases?

I suppose these foolish fools have to leave the house sometimes. And ransom indeed- we all know that iPhone games are really expensive.

You can't compare Steam and purchasing a retail copy for the very reason of the resale value and owning a hard copy, Steam are notorious for not releasing licenses. Its like comparing cds and mp3 downloads.

Well of course you can and people will. The votes speak for themselves :)

If that was the case then why has the following thread got so much heat when its been cheaper on steam???

Your text here

The fact is most ppl dont have the balls to say why they vote cold so to say everyone is voting cold because it was cheaper on steam is just pure assumption on your part.

To say you cannot compare a hard copy to a digital copy is silly. You should compare and weigh up the pros and cons when considering any purchase.

Digital Pros;
Half the price
Instant download
Can be installed on any computer you own

Cons:
No resale value (this con is negligible in this specific instance when it costs you £2.50 in the first place)

Hard Copy Pros:
Physical copy
Possible resale value although on a £5 game once you have factored in being used, and postage costs plus possible auction fees it's probably not worth it.
Some value to a collecter.

Cons:
Costs twice as much as digital copy
Delivery at least 24 hours likely 2-3 days
Can get damaged/break/lost

The fact is most ppl dont have the balls to say why they vote cold so to say everyone is voting cold because it was cheaper on steam is just pure assumption on your part.

You make a lot of contradictions and poor arguments. This is not a "fact".

Example of a fact: The majority of people who voted on this deal consider it not to be a good one.

How have I contradicted myself and how was what I said not fact?, the fact is your the only one that has said why they were voting cold even if it was stupid (comparing it to a digital and expired priced product) which makes my statement about most ppl not having the balls to say why they are voting cold a fact. If any one can provide a genuine link to this product cheaper elsewhere then good I will accept the cold votes and it will benefit the community but so far no one has ! !

Can this be activated on steam?

Do you see the irony? :) You presume people don't have 'balls' to post there reasons when the truth could be many factors such as:

1.) Deal is obviously not a good deal.
2.) Reason deal is cold has been posted by someone else and does not require repeating ad verbatim.
3.) Cold voter is lazy.
4.) Many other reasons of which I imagine the use of 'balls' comes very low on the list.

....so basically I have not contradicted myself as you stated and are just talking rubbish, if you have a link to a better deal or anyone has then post/link it if not vote it hot or don't bother voting cos you ruin this community for people who are searching for a deal. :(

I am afraid your "fact" is not a fact either!!

Some users have more influence on the temperature than others - a long serving member of this site with many "hot" deals behind them has a greater influence on the temperature than a newbie that has just joined and no hot deals previously posted. Therefore more people can vote cold than hot, but if the people voting hot have a higher ranking the temperature of the deal could still be hot!

At least this is how it used to work .....

If you haven't got anything remotely intelligent to post thats pertinent to the deal in question please control your primeval urges and refrain from posting as anything else will be considered SPAM
