Would much rather purchase a years subscription of EA Access for £20 to obtain this game and well as a bunch of other games

Guess it depends on how long you wanna play it. I got 2 months EA access til Jan 25th so all the games i wanna play are on download and will spend about a week on each, try and get through as many as possible. My chance to do the Mass Effect trilogy as well. Just finished the Battlefield 4 story, Battlefront is suppose to be added soon

Cmon £20 for the year ea access is better value, but depends on whether you want the actual disc or not!

For £20 a year I'm surprised that anyone that owns an Xbox one doesn't just get EA access. The selection and amount of games is superb

I'm sure Battlefront was due before Christmas and I really can't even begin to comprehend that anyone who owns an Xbone would not invest in Access?

Like my life it's a no brainer and something every single PS4 fan boy looks over at Xbox on with serious serious envy.

There is no better deal in console gaming, there just ain't!

Depends if your a fan of the games EA offers though, Mass Effect is in my backlog of games, not into sports games as its barely much difference from each year. Racing games seem the same esp with Need 4 speed.
But for £3 for 2 months, and plenty of time, i could probably finish all the games i need to so no point for a yearly sub

My sons uncle wants to buy 1 years EA access for my son as a gift. Any advice on the best way to do this please? And if there is an option to cancel the re- occurring payment after a year, before the year is through?

I think you can get it as gift card over the counter in Game but don't quote me on it, otherwise get him to get a code from someone like cdkeys: 19 and half quid on there at the minute

I am not a great fan of sports games either to be honest but I do have friends and family who game and who do come round ours on a regular basis.

I'd suggest accommodating the gaming preferences of one's guests when it can be done for less than 40 pence a week is every bit as hospitable as providing them with a nice cold refreshing bottle of Hoegaarden or a lovely hot strong cup of coffee, fresh of course because we don't do none of that pony plastic instant tosh in our house 8)

Guess so but I have no friends and my family never come round, plus they hate gaming.

I'd need to hear your tone of voice to respond to that correctly :D
