Obviously there wont be much demand for this but check in store or a good basket filler if you've got work coming up.

Know a good plasterer who will appreciate this. Heat added!

HOT, I'm a plasterer and although it's rare that these beads are called for, it's still a very good price. Normally about a pound a peice from merchants...trade price.

Hi Owlass.
When I first read your suggestion of buying Gift Vouchers (Yuk!!) I just smirked a bit but then (much later) it dawned on me.

Does it work? Can you make up the value using Gift Vouchers (so no delivery cost) and then use same gift vouchers to pay for an order over £50.00 thereby, once again, no p&p?

Dead sneeky. anyone done it yet?

Screwfix - members of hotukdeals need to be aware that when visiting Screwfix trade counters they demand your name and postcode - in other words your full address.

I went to a trade counter and was asked for my name and post code and replied that I would be happy to give my name for the receipt/invoice but not my postcode. I was then told that they could not process the sale. When the assistant was asked why there wasn't a 'declined' option he replied there was only an option to say I didn't wish to be include in there mailing list.

As if ! ... I have always thought the best way of staying off anyone mailing and database is not to provide the details in the first place. Eventualy after speaking to a very rude manager (I popped out to the van and got my memo recorder whilst waiting) my sale was processed 'manualy' . I am in the process of making a complaint to Screwfix about there demands and why they don't make these policies clear in there newspaper adverts.

I know some people couldn't care less about stores with these policies in place - but for those who do just stay away from Screwfix.
