Trust me it wont go..they will probably have thousands of them in stock...

Personally have went for the Integral 16gb SHDC but Class 6 for £20.99 from Mymemory - performed the best in several tests/comparisons and is the fastest possible write speed currently for SDHC

If it's the same as their smaller capacity cards it'll be a Toshiba card with a Play sticker on top. Never had an issue with the half dozen or so I've had so far and work perfect in my ACHVD HD camera and DSLR on continuous shooting, so write speeds not really an issue unless maybe you want to use it to boost an Acer One or similar. Even then should be fine.

Just bought one for my Panny HD camcorder for just over £17 using the 5% discount code SCI09. Excellent VFM.

I bought one of these (arrived yesterday) and works perfectly in a Canon HF100 camcorder. Certainly class 4 and up to the job.
#11
I bought at the same price about a month ago. Works well in my Panasonic SD9 Hi Def camcorder.

not true. class 6 is the highest class which guarantees 6Mb/sec write speeds, but there are plenty of 20-30Mb/sec cards out there -albeit at a higher cost.

They've definitely gone up in price as I bought one from here a few months ago for around 20 pounds and somewhat surprised to see how much they'd gone up. Went for the Play deal as the device it was being bought for works fine on a Class 4.

Depends on the camera, it's worth checking if it can actually use the higher speed or not - just because the card is faster doesn't mean the camera will be. In the Panasonic LX3 there's no difference between class 4 and class 6, it can record 720p with either and the burst mode still takes just as long to empty its buffer.

makes a big difference for people like me (using a canon sx1 is) -impossible to record in 1080p @ such a high bitrate on a card of this speed.

Actually Cnet claimed they had no issue recording to Class 4 cards with this camera and I've seen a few forum topics where other people have similarly been able to record full resolution video on a class 4 card despite Canon recommending a class 6 card.

I can record full 1080p @ 25 fps (AVCHD 17mbps) without problems to this card, so it must your camera and not this card.

yes it is my camera and thats why i stated its model. sx1 is 40mbps - so requires the extra space for video. and despite the claims - true class 4 cards dont allow the max capacity recording time in my own experience with this camera.

anyway, i got the sandisk extreme 3 16gb cards when they were £19 at play (would be class 20 if it actually existed -they should get on to this) so im future proof for now, and certainly got some speedy transfers
