From the canon site:

MEMORY CARD
Type SD, SDHC, MMC, MMCplus, HC MMCplus. 16MB memory card supplied

so as the card is SDHC should be supported

I got the 8gb version today - works fine in my Canon A720IS  ... Although Ive also ordered the Sandisk Extreme III which i will probably end up using in the Canon instead.

Nope my Dell Inspiron 6400 wont read SDHC but get a card reader from Poundland for ... £1. The white stick ones with the card slot in the side will read it.

would this work with my fui finepix z10?
#24
d**n, bought this at 8.99 a few days ago, because I thought it would never get cheaper.

PS What is the relevance of saying it has been posted before, when it is now cheaper? Does that mean once at item is posted once, any future price reductions should never be posted???!
#25
I know this is a class 4 SDHC. but can anyone do some testing and see what is the average sustainable rate for write / read ?

It'll probably be around 2-4mb in reality, 4mb means contigous reading blocks - i.e reading one massive file.

When using it for photos - lots of small files it will be faster than normal cards but probably not enourmously fast.

i read somewhere Class 4 means minimum 4mb/s speed. But nthing to indicate what is the average sustainable speed.

I doubt it. Fuji usually use xD cards. What does your instruction manual say?
#34
Bought the 8gb version for my Panasonic HDC-SD1 Hi-Def camcorder a couple of weeks ago for £14.99 and it's even faster than the Panasonic class 2 card supplied with the camcorder. Have also ordered this 4gb version as I can also use it in my Canon A710IS digital camera. To think, it cost me £20 for a 256mb XD memory card for my first digital camera in 2005 !

would this work with my fui finepix z10?

Yes, it should work fine with your camera as it can take SD and SDHC cards as well as XD cards
#35
price is now back to £8.49 or £8.07 using experience08 for the 5% off

Have learned that with companies like play.com it is wise to order the item quickly before the price changes. Glad i ordered it last night :-)
