These have been around this price for months, as low as £10 for branded, but have risen to around £12(again for branded).

Not for class 4 dude, the cheap ones are class 2, much slower read/write.

I paid £18 for a class 6 card only last week. This is definitely a hot deal, heat and rep added.

Yeh, but what are the chances of Play actually sending you a Class 4? When I read the reviews from the last Play micro SDHC deal, someone had received a Class 2 although the photo clearly shows a Class 4. I don't think Play understand the meaning of that little number in the circle!

as reliable as sandisk?
#13
7dayshop have Transcend 8GB class 6 showing as stock on order though......for £13.99. Or order 2+ at £13.49 each. Yours is still a good deal OP. Voted hot
#14
will these work in the dual slot micro sd to pro duo adapter?
#15
Or you can get a Play own-brand class 6 card for £10.99. No idea who produces their own-brand stuff or what it's like, mind you!

That one's a regular SD card - this deal is for a micro SD card

What on earth has that got to do with this deal ?!?!?

Anyhow i bought one a few weeks ago and it works no problem (as do many other PLAY branded cards ive currently got). Also its interesting how many people (my self included) have problems with Sandisk. The only branded card i trust is transcend.

How big do DS's support with the DSTT card? Will this work? Thanks

depends on which DSTT, the fake ones will work with SDHC so this should work fine. i dont think the unofficial ones do

im pretty sure these are rebranded cards, it wouldnt suprise me if sandisk themselves made these

I am confused as to what is a "fake" and what is an "unofficial" one - isn't that the same thing?

But I can confirm these do work in the Official DSTT card.

PS: I bought 3 of these from Play at this price 4 weeks ago and they were all Class4.

I repeat, these same cards have been this price for months, and I have personally bought class 6 8GB cards for £9.99. Believe me or don't. :)

Hi

Does anyone know if this card is compatible with the Nokias, in particular the Nokia E71?

many thanks
#26
just to confirm these cards are fast (at least the one i just received)
17MB/s read and burst
the official Sandisk Class4 only bursts at 13MB/s
excellent, and cheap (still about this price)
assuming its reliable, says made in Japan, no reason why not :)

oh and:
to get these speeds dont use your (probably old) internal reader, i use one of these
