The last Play branded SDHC card I bought (4gb) was pretty slow, just about the slowest card I had at the time.

Unless it states that it's fast enough for ReadyBoost I wouldn't hold out hope.

Dunno who makes Play.com flash, but you can get the Transcend (think this is Samsung) 8gb Class 6 flash from 7dayshop for £9.99 plus £1.95 postage until Monday. I think it's better quality - certainly faster than the above, although no quidco.

Actually, you can buy the 16gb version of the memory I said about at 7dayshop for £17.99 plus £1.95 postage - makes it cheaper than the mymemory deal.

Toshiba makes the standard Play.com flash and it is rated at class 4.

Agreed. I have the Transcend 8GB class 6 card in my eeePC and I paid £42 for it from Amazon back in the day. Transcend is a decent enough brand in the flash memory business and £12 is not to be sniffed at.

Play have dropped their Quidco rate for PC and Electronics to just 0.5%. Tight a$$es!
