Good price but the following deal is worth looking at if you want more than one

ordered one of these last night at £10.99 and it was only posted today :x:x

Pretty slow for an 8GB drive, for the sake of a pound or two you're sacrificing speed though I guess that's not important to everyone.

amazon are doing a sandisk 8gig for 9.99 or 5.99 on marketplace if anybodys interested :)

Great price......posted this a short while ago and since had mine delivered, for me worth the extra money, amazing data rates and totally rugged construction.

I think the last time the blue Play.Com 8GB USB was posted it was £11.49 >http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/249718/8gb-flash-drive-now-down-to-11-49-p/

I bought x3 of these on one of the previous higher priced listings & they are excellent

Many thanks - just what I was looking for. Quidco + UCAS card discount takes the cost down to £8.50 each. Speed not an issue for me.

I read a review of a 2GB Sandisk Cruzer on Cnet and it said it was painfully slow, this has always put me off them. Have they got improved performance now or something? Anyone got any concrete speeds for them?

I dont think so! I bought a 4GB Sandisk Cruiser and it was very slow. I found out that other people with the same problem had removed the preloaded software in an attempt to resolve it. I used the removal tool on the makers website and then the drive didn't work at all. I then bought a 4gb Play.com, its much faster and it works without a hitch.
