Not sure why you posted that link to the more expensive option :?

Hey guys. I have the 16gb one and I have to say that it is much faster than the quoted figures on the website. The purported figures for mine were the same as this one. In reality, I get around 30mb + read speed and around 13-16mb write. Quite good for the price I think. Certainly, I was unable to come across a faster one for the price (though there may be some out there).

Hope this helps someone.

Exactly the same item posted less than 3 weeks ago.

But it was/is more expensive.:?

The point of HUKD is to post the best bargains. The one you posted the link to was more expensive; which I was aware of when I posted this as I checked the prices.

It's the same item... only the price has changed. I thought you were not allowed a repost within a month?

This is all a bit off topic now, but so you are clear
1) Yes, reposts are not allowed within a one month period
2) The point of HUKD is to post the best deals available.
3) This was £1 more expensive 3 weeks ago
4) Therefore it is not a repost. If I posted it at the same price from the same merchant within 1 month of the original post it would be a repost.

Only the price has changed? is that not the point of posting it?

You posted that deal. It was £9.49 when you posted it. You obviously thought that it was a "hot" price when you posted it; but now as it is £1 cheaper you now think that it is a "cold" price.

The point of HUKD deals is to source/post the best deals/bargains.

You should vote hot on good prices and cold on poor prices. Not the other way round, which is what you appear to be doing from your comments.

Hope that helps with your voting patterns in future RyCha as there is clearly some confusion, which I hope I have now cleared up for you

from your quote below your avatar..
SPAM the dupes.
this is a dupe.

getting a bit petty isnt it?
If the price drops again, within 3 days does that mean I can then submit a new deal of the same product thats on here several times already?

Surely the original post can be reopened and the new lower price added to it?

Just a thought.

Does it really matter. As long as people are benefitting, than why not duplicate (which it technically is not if it is £1 cheaper).

Who bothers to trawl through the pages looking for something that may have dropped in price - not me.

Stop moaning.

Good luck to those who find it useful.

The lid on both of my pen drives like this have broken (integral but identical), in the future i would spend a couple of quid extra on one with a better build quality.

after all its not like you buy one every week so an extra £1.50 for a cruzer etc is the better option IMO

There are a few Wazucks on this thread today......

I think photos may be called for as basic English doesn't seem to be getting the point across

Another happy 16GB owner  gets very good read/write speeds under testing.

warm at best....8 quid for 8 gig isn't really a deal these days

Very good price, but I would be tempted to pay a bit extra and get a Sandisk drive as I have had these cheap ones many times before and they fall apart after a few months.

I never saw it first time around so THANKS for the repost .

:x Grrrrrr I just paid £9.49 For one of these. 3 days ago.

What speeds are you getting? I have a £10 Play voucher and am thinking of getting the 16GB version.

As I mentioned on the 1st page, speeds seem to be around:
Read- 30-35mbs
Write- 13-16mbs

I think that's pretty decent, to be honest. The Sandisk ones for the same price don't seem to get anywhere near that. All in all, I'm quite happy with it.

The reviews on Play.com seem to concur with the speeds I've been getting too. Also, it looks a lot better than it does on the picture for some reason.

Thanks for clarifying. I've just left you some Rep and am going to order one of these.

Have you got a link to an equal spec drive for less?.
#27
A reasonable price - but for size it can't compete with the Sandisk Micro Cruzer Skin. I got a 4GB one for about £8 at Tesco, but have seen an 8GB one later for around £12.
