I just ordered this machine on Monday and waiting for its arrival. However it was £39.99 that I paid, can anyone tell me if I could possibly get the difference back?

You could ask play.com or return it back saying its faulty or something.

Do you know if this is easily foldable?

I'll try and ask them if I can get the difference back. I really hope they do offer me the difference back because if they don't then returning it would cost quite a bit to send back coz the box should be big.

I don't know if its foldable or not. However I have read a few reviews that this is pretty good. This is the exact same design as the Ab Lounge but the cheaper version. And people say it actually works...that is...if u follow their instructions and do it everyday.

hi, you can send anything upto 30kgs and 60 x 60 x 60 via a dhl agent, for 48 hrsdelivery for a the grand sum of 6.99 sometimes a pound or two cheaper than that, so its not that expensive if your getting 39.99 back.

have a look on ebay for either payperdrop or home textiles, both offer a dhl collection service.

they fold up almost flat , you have to detactch the bungie starps first tho, its quite heavy and once bungies are realesed be careful of fingers as it flips about all over the place before you manage to fold it , lol (excersise routine in itself) i had the ab lounge and it does work well , only thing is mine got put away as its quite big and err it kinda stayed there until i finally decided to sell it on last year . good deal though for the price but only if your going to be strict with yourself to use it .

Slight problem with this product.......where is the rest for the Mouse and Keyboard......?

reviews say it's foldable. Ordered one myself so I'll tell you when it turns up :)

If a product has been ordered but not dispatched you can cancel and reorder at the lowest price.

Anyone tell me how to add heat?

I just phoned play.com up and they wouldn't give me the £15 price drop difference back. Was told that I will have to return it and then buy it again if I want the refund. The box is 107x76x15cm and weighs 17kg so I think it'll cost around the same price, if not more, to send it back. :x

I have searched for payperdrop and home textiles on ebay (the user name search) but can't find those user name. Any others that I can try?

Payperdrop now have their own courier service and so no longer use DHL. Type thier name into google and its the first link.

As for the ebay seller try searching for home-textiles . That should come up with the correct seller.

Refuse delivery at the door ? Slip the driver a £5 maybe to take it back ?
Must admit I usually stick up for Play but being as the thing hadn't even been delivered you would have thought they might be more helpful :x

I also was going to ask the above question, but i have no arrows on the right hand side of the avatar??

I received the parcel before calling play.com in the morning. I don't really understand why they will rather have extra cost and work than to just refund the difference. I guess they have done their research and found that people are less likely to ask for price drop refunds if they are forced to send the item back first and then buying it again.

The arrows are hard to see. You see the temperature at the top of the original post? The arrows are right beside the temperature on its left. One is red (points up) and the other is blue (points down). Clicking on the red arrow of course means the deal is good.

mine arrived today and I would say that it is not easily foldble as you have to more or less dismantle it. That isn't a big job, although it's a big chair, but would put me off using it. You can fold it to store but if you want to use it often you're talking about a lot of space - more than a normal chair takes up. It's not comfortable enough to sit in if not in use for exercise.

Has it been posted? I can always cancel my order if it's not been processed.

You're product is faulty I can just feel it ;-)

If they want to be obstructive then I would join them.

Look for any written information stating that the customer must bear the return costs if an item is returned under the Distance Selling Regulations. It MUST be in writing available before the start of the contract for purchase otherwise they CANNOT charge u for returning the goods.

I bought one of these from Play last time this deal was on, they are quite big and I found it difficult to fold away, ended up giving it away after about 5 days as its just too big. I have a sit-up bench and i reckon I get a better workout on that than this chair.
Would be worried about bringing anyone into my bedroom as it looks a bit like a torture chair! :w00t:

I've found Play.com's customer service to be pretty poor recently, if not down right rude. Have shopped with them for years and bought hundreds of items from them with very few problems in the past but recently I had an ordered which arrived badly damaged. The person on the helpline was hopeless, it took 20 minutes to get the answer to a simple question and an email address which still turned out to be wrong it would seem. They just don't seem interested, and I never seem to be told the same thing twice. This return has now misteriously gone missing on it's way back to them and they refuse to do anything further. It's a real shame as I thought there one of the best around.

When an order from Amazon has arrived damaged in the past they can't be more helpful, they usually give you a preprinted label with postage paid by them, they send a replacement right away and even refund you up to 30 days after dispatch if the price changes. Most of all they are polite when they reply to emails.

The DVD I returned recently which arrived in a dozen pieces, I was left liable for the return cost. I know a DVD is much smaller and lighter but surely the same should have applied to mine? This package as now gone missing and they won't refund either the item or the postage to send it back. I'm being left to take it up with Royal Mail. Whilst I don't have a problem with doing this it's a bit of a pain given that the item was in pieces before it arrived with me, I returned it by the method they requested, and I'm the one left out of pocket in the mean time till this is sorted out.
