"Voted cold as its the normal price. + its adults only and you have to go twice to make it worth it."

Granted It's normal Price and Adults only. Howerver....(fromPlaythree website)

"These give you access on both Saturday 15th, and Sunday 16th March and access to 'All' areas of the event. Play.com will also be giving away huge prizes over the course of the two-day event, including two chances to win £50,000 as well as free goodie bags for all attendees."

SO £16 for access all area tickets for both days isn't that pricey, seeing as Cinema tickets would be nearly this to see two films and with these you can go for two full days and get freebies sounds like a win win offer

One would presume the important people are the ones willing to pay £16 for the ticket... ;-)
#13
yup cold, agree with all the comments
#14
I'm not important enough to go.

:(
#15
Bought my ticket the moment this show was announced. This'll be the UKs E3!

Just found out you can call 0871 220 6000 to book tickets to watch a film at the Apollo cinema in Burnley - of course the tickets cost the normal price and it's probably only of interest to people who live in the surrounding area (whether or not they consider themselves to be "the most important people") but thought I better start spreading the news before they sell out.....:whistling:

Well seeing as i'm travelling over a hundred miles from yorkshire to go to this would hardly say its "Local"

Plus from browsing abourd standard tickets were being shown at £9 for one day and £14 for both without the access all areas part.
#18
The other tickets arent on sale yet.
#19
I shall wait for my free tickets to turn up from my mate at Ubisoft :P

Let me guess when something happens in London the first to moan is Birmingham.

Quote from Play's website :

Tickets will be despatched at the end of February

And why Adults only?

You must be 18 years of age or over to enter the VIP area
#23
Personally i am glad its adults you wont get a million and one kids hogging the game pods. Also maybe there is alot of adult based games/films on show?

Well, if it is anything like the old ECTS that was held in London (trade only event) it will be full of scantily clad women, and beer will be flowing somewhere, so obviously they don't want to warp the little childrens minds.
And to be perfectly honest I dont want to have to fight my way on to a pod for a game of SF4 (or whatever) only to be beaten by some annoying ten year old :P

Cold. It's in London. Adults only. Is it really that big a deal to play a game a bit before it's release?
#26
eh? currently unavailable?
#27
Yay, they finally sold out. Now people can wait for the other ones to become available.

These tickets specifically are for adults, allowing access to specific areas of the event. Child tickets should be available soon.

And yeah. In a way it is a big deal. Sure it may only be a few months in advance, but when did the UK's gamers last get a chance to experience something similiar to PAX or E3? I'm voting hot, i believe £16 for a weekend ticket is fantastic, and i'm sure the OP alerted a few members to this deal, due to it basically being hidden in the Play site and not advertised much.

One question though. I'm 18, and so having an Adult ticket doesn't neccesarily matter to me. However, a few friends have ordered tickets due to the others not being available. What i'd love to know is if they can still use the tickets if under 18, and if this only affects them entering age specific areas, and not the show as a whole?
#29
You should be able to use the tickets if your under 18, but you wont be able to get into the vip areas. The other tickets should be on sale soon.
#30

#31

#36
