Judging by the reviews I am not sure if its worth even £17.99..factor in buying decent headphones for the unit, and you may as well opt for a more trusted brand on a last season clearance

I had checked this out too and the reviews were possitively awful! I'd simply not consider this at all. Might be ok to give to a kid or something to keep their little paws off your top end player.

Anyone got any good suggestions for a decent cheaper player?

I bought one of these last time it was down to £17.99. Have to be honest and say I had to send the first one back for a problem with the screen but I am more than happy with the replacement. I'm listening to it now. Great price for what it does. Voted hot. It's got some bad reviews but if you take the time to learn how to use it properly and take into account the price and what it does, you can't really grumble at eighteen quid.
