Went into Asda today and found this great deal on playing cards, 24p. BARGAIN!

Instore only. I found it in the Walthamstow branch and my friend saw it in the Leyton branch ... it should be nationwide, worth a check.

The most fun you can have for 24p?
#3
Will pop down to stow's store then and have a look

Been waiting for playing cards to come down in price... thanks. ;)

The only problem with these, is they stick together very easily. Heat given for price and great for the odd game or so but if you want serious cards, bicycle cards are imo the best.

What an ace deal! Anyone want to club together and buy a pack?
I would ask my friend Jack but he's a heartless git. We once went halves on a spade and he never lets me borrow it :(

perhaps I'm missing the point, but who saw these at 49p and thought "I'd never buy them" then saw them at 24p and thought "just what I need"

Anything over 39p and I would have had to walk away. 24 pence is not ideal but it's within my budget this week for card related activities. ;)

I see your point but these are still great to stash away until the holidays or when the family is around. You would be paying £1+ at robbing corner shops..

Depends on the quality of the cards. I bought some waddingtons for £1.49, great quality.
#11
These quality of cards are terrible!!, will last you all of 10 minutes before the corners will bend and split, better of investing in a deck of Kem Arrow's they will last you YEARS and are coated in plastic unlike these flimsy paper ones.
#12
snap!
#13
Quality is terrible, I'd "flush" them down the toilet "straight" away if you got them.

..
actually I don't know what they're like, good find hot from me

Saw these in Tesco too, but were they higher or lower than Asda?

agreed these are bad quality even for 24p but if it's just for the kids they probably won't mind
