Not sure this was ever 140 quid.. Plenty sets available elsewhere at 55 quid.. So 40 quid looks a good price.

ordered thanks :)

Posted this a while back but from Argos. It's never worth even half the 140 quid, but okay for 40. Absolutely huge box, so be warned!

The problem with this is it keeps coming apart. It's really not that well made.

Ordered, cheers.

Looks good, not sure I want my sons getting into Playmobil though, seems a generally expensive thing to like

My daughters played with their Playmobil into their teens. Although it's not cheap, your sons may go on enjoying it for years. Smaller sets are come in at under a tenner, so there is always scope for add-ons without spending a fortune.

Ordered thanks. Elder son was Lego, daughter sylvanian. 3rd born playmobile. It's great for them to have a collection for Xmas and birthdays to add to.

Just looked and it's £54.99 on ebay, there's a cheaper one at £37.50 but much smaller and half the parts.

When I was a kid it was always available but I can never remember anyone actually having any of it
#20
Spend a few quid more and get the pirate ship. A hundred times better and your kids will actually play with it.

you're right thanks for that, I never noticed that, I would've been so disappointed when it came. Off to order the OP's one now. Thanks!

Rather judgemental. I still played with/collected Star Wars figures up until I was 14. You don't have to start smoking dope, underage drinking and teenage pregnancy as soon as you hit your teens, you can wait a bit longer for that.

I'm not judging or suggesting anyone smokes dope or does whatever teens do in your world.

I'm just very surprised that anybody in their teens would still play with playmobil. Stuff like Star Wars still has that geeky interest for some into adulthood but Playmobil?

In fact it's a surprise if a kid hasn't moved onto Lego by the time they are 6 or 7.

good price but we are exclusively Lego people in our house :D

Fab, thank you just ordered.
