why is this not crazy hot?

asda will give you £28 trade for Fifa 11, and I think £25 for Medal of Honor, and you can use the vouchers to buy anything from Asda so making this under £190 for a brand new £160gb ps3

sorry just realised those were the xbox 360 prices, but can't see how they'd be different for ps3, either way worth checking out as it's a really good deal

This seems like a great deal! I've already got Fifa on Xbox, and dont care for MOH, so I'll trade em both back. Work just awarded me £225 for dealing with a disaster well, so I think I'm off to Asda tonight for this! :D

considering Amazon just had a crappy black friday offer for the 160gb ps3 for £199.99 that sold out before you could blink, this is by far a much better and guaranteed offer

This looks like a really good deal. However its out of stock and probably is going to be for a very long.

I purchased the 160gb (No games) from Sainsburys (In Telford) for £199 on Tuesday.

GUESS YOU GOT ONE IN THE END THEN

Was in Asda Dumbarton today and they had this deal on. Someone had obviously traded the games back because in the pre-owned games there was a MOH and Fifa still sealed for £20 and £30 respectively.
#12
Paid £224.03 for the 160gb with FIFA11 and Medal of Honor in the Asda at Toryglen (Glasgow). The price was lower as the guy on the check out said FIFA had just been gone down in price today.

Just traded back both games at asda. Got £28 each. So £239 minus £56 is £183

Great price if you don't want the games.
What's amazing though is asda are selling FIFA 11 for £25 new. In theory, you could make £3 all day long. The guy at the till said "yes bonkers aye!"

JUST PAID £224 in Hinckley for 160 and 2 games best price around !
Shelf edge said £239 and Fosse Park Sold out !

Took advantage of this deal at £224 for the console (160gb) and the two games. Best offer!! Going to trade in the games making the cost of the console below £180.

Actually went into Asda stockport and they don't have Medal of Honor. I asked whether I could buy the bundle and pick the game up later when it comes in stock, they said no you can't. They couldn't substitute another and were at mercy of the scanning machine apparently. Hopefully they get MOH back in stock soon. They had no idea when the game is coming back in.

Went to Sainsburys, Comet, Currys, tesco and non of them had 160GB PS3s in so I couldn't price match.

I just want to play GT5 and replace my 60GB.

I've just tried calling some ASDAs in Liverpool, ive been quoted £239 and £249. Is it only coming up as £224 when it's scanned?
#23
Yes, the guy at Asda thought it was 239 but it scanned at 224.03 and thats what I paid

I got mine later today as they had stock delivered. not a bad deal

And thanks very much for posting the deal, mighty mugger

HOT just gone to pick it up. Scanned at £224.03. Plus was able to get 10% cashback on my credit card purchases so it all came in at just over £200. mega hot.

Does anyone know of any Asda's in London that scan at £224? Mine was £239 in wembley!

Wembley branch is crap. They never price anything up properly. Try colindale.

Wigan store is still £249.99 as my cousin has literally just been and bought the same bundle :o)

Thanks to the poster. I just picked one up in Asda Sheffield. It is on display as £239 but will scan through at £224.03 which is a bit random. I didn't want those games so I traded them straight back to the lady that sold me the machine for £56 store credit to use on anything in store. Really fantastic deal. The deal is only on until (and including) tomorrow though.

went to Asda (wembley) asked for the deal they said the deal is no longer at that price..... absolotuly outrage.... considering i went last week and the stock was meant to return today (tuesday) which it did however at a complete different price. spoke to manager wasnt too helpful decided to give me £5 store credit which i denied. Then decided to give 260gb ps3 + fifa 11 + pre - owned game for £245.00................ SHAMFULL!!!!
