Ha seems like a lot of hastle to convince a few people that this deal is legit. If they dont believe, they dont believe, i dont mind. I have a shiney new ps3 sitting in my room. And like you said , ive been a member on here for months looking for a console but i do know how sceptical people are on this without a picture cos im on all the time lol. But hopefully someone will be on soon to back me up

As others have said it's the free game that makes it better, even if you don't want the game you could trade it in immediately. As far as I can see CEX will give you £25 cash for FIFA and even HMV themselves are paying £18 for it.

You also have to remember that its Christmas and the game will be unopened and likely still in it's cellophane, deals where you chose the free game won't have special packaging so it'll be a normal retail copy. In a weeks times you could always try returning it somewhere as an unwanted present that you don't have a receipt for, you'll be looking at the full unused price then and in the worst scenario you may end up with store credit somewhere for that value.

edit: You also can't really vote this cold on the basis of the Sainsbury's one being better since that deal is no longer available.

Hang on, I will just wait a fortnight until the price comes down, maybe just a few weeks more and get it pre-owned. By which time the next new game will be out and you might not play the current game anymore. No point buying it now.

I bought it today as well. I took skyrim as the free game and bought Uncharted 3 and Saints Row: The Third both for £25 each also picked up remote for £10

which one is/was the better deal? this one or the previous amazon 320Gb one? I missed the previous chance and now considering this one. I'm also thinking will price drops again after boxing day.

Better hope it works though as HMV will be bust come Spring.
