Just popped into my local GameStation and bough a Playstation 3. The best deal was for £350 and included 2 of the following games:

Haze
Metal Gear Solid 4
Battlefield Bad Company
Gran Tourismo Prologue
Call of Duty 4
(One More .. Can't remember)

And 2 of the following Blueray films:

Rambo
I am Legend
Beowolf

I read that only price cut in US, that we just getting bigger harddrive and PS2 compatable.... but hope your right.

just to add another article for more prof ( if needed) CVG

seems it a straight upgrade. 40gb hard-drive out 80 gb in, nothing else changed. still no PS2 support in these models.

good deal though as Sony are not planning to( immediately anyway), reduce the 40's price.

no wonder the 40g ones seems to be dissapearing fast and not being replaced.
