  most ps3 games have mandatory installs now, and some games are as much as 5gb so its possible this will only take 2 games prior to having to buy a big hdd. Not sure on the cost of the versions with a hdd but I would suggest comparing the price of the hdd included against this plus a similar hdd, otherwise as a blu ray player that will be upgraded as the spec matures (less of an issue now) this is not a bad price.
  
  EDIT just seen this has a game with it, nice sell that and use the cash to buy a new HDD. good price hot if you want this cheapy PS3.

  Although I find myself getting far too irritated with these 12gb Super Slims. As others have said, that internal memory is nowhere near enough. It's easy to buy a caddy from Amazon & put a spare drive in (I have a 640gb drive that I want to use), but I don't want to do it, because I hate wasting the 12gb of Flash memory which gets disabled as soon as you put a hard drive in. That's just stupid! Sony should release a firmware update to enable it

  Well its easy to buy a 2.5" HDD (and take the size you like), and install it. 500GB hdd-s are about 35£. The HDD Cage/metal to mount hdd into slim is 9.99£ at amazon. But should be around 7£ on high street shops...
