£420 for a similar deal on ps4 pro and I would snap it up.

I think this is the price match of GAME. Good deal, IMO but be aware GAME will offer you reward points and cashback which may help buying a second game with your console. :) Heat added.

I have my pro pre ordered with GAME for that same reason.

What's better about the pro console? Looking to get my son a PS4 and was thinking just get an older one as price will come down?

How often do Sony have sales on the PSN store? Thinking of getting a PS4 but want to be all digital and coming from PC gaming don't fancy paying £50 for every new game.

Ultimately the pro will make games look better but you need either a 4k or HDR tv to get the benefits of a PS4 Pro.

It can play games in/near to 4K if you have have a 4K tv, also in HDR.

If your playing on a HD TV it will only benefit frame rate and general performance really.

They have sales often but it's a bit of a lottery.

I personally would buy the physical game beat it asap then sell it on.

A new sale every 2/3 weeks.

so disappointed with the lack of 4k blu ray player in the Pro.....quite shocking really. I was waiting to upgrade, but might have to jump to the xbone s now, as it's the cheapest 4k blu ray player on the market anyway...afaik

Someone posted an article that its likely to come as its just a program to run 4k so the hardware is there just not software!! Would make sense as it will run 4k from a game disc'!!

Run 4K from a disk, what are you on about, it just installs from a normal bluray to the hard drive.

It does not have the hardware to play UHD disks, end of, you cannot patch this in.

It's almost comical the difference a steel book makes, or is it the retailer?

-352 degrees yesterday.

Not sure why people think the pro is going to require a 4k tv... Thought it was a given that the aim is to make 1080p/60 more consistent and attainable? It's not powerful enough to push 4k games at any sort of detail?
Media, yes, but again, no UHD BR player...

Good deal that!

Guessing it's the current DS4 though and not the revised one, a chance to clear stocks. So expect more of these free controller bundles!

Question then, I'm on the fence a bit here... I've never owned a PS4 and I want to replace my PS3, I have a great Sony TV but it isn't 4k. I don't plan on going "4k" any time soon. Should I just wait for the inevitable deals on the current stock to start coming in, I can't see any obvious advantages with the Pro or Slim in my case (_;)

I would personally get an original PS4 and wait for the PS5 to upgrade your console. 4k tvs will be alot cheaper then too.

This is exactly what I'm doing. My Ps4 went on the blink a few weeks ago, got an insurance pay out and I intend to buy another original Ps4 instead of the slim. Hopefully it'll go cheaper in price in the next few days. The original isn't too bulky imo, anyway and it's only going to sit in my TV cabinet.

People will also want one for the improvements in the VR experience. That's why I might be getting it.

If people are going to down vote this like the GAME deal at least show us where you can get it at a better price...because I thought this was a "deal" website.

How many people are honestly going to go out and buy 4K blu rays? I own the Xbox s and I've purchased none. Personally I never watch blu rays anymore there just pilled up like DVDs used to be. I like many others stream everything so keeping the cost down to concentrate on the gaming side isn't a bad idea. Just my opinion though I know everyone is different.
