Cracking deal I think.

Also, 5% Quidco making the final price a possible £36.57!!!

The Playstation move takes motion-sensing gaming to the next level. True 1:1, sub-millimeter tracking puts gamers into the virtual world of the PS3 and allows them to interact with the environment as if the objects were in their own living room. The controller uses the PlayStation Eye Camera in conjunction with the light emitting "orb" atop the controller to calculate your position in three-dimensional space. As the orb can change colour, multiple controllers can be tracked simultaneously.

The orb can also be used to enhance in-game actions, for instance changing to red when using a "fire spell". The controller will feature traditional buttons, including a trigger, for those actions which motion-sensing will not capture, such as firing a gun. The possibilities for the motion controller range from simplifying the user-interface of a real-time strategy (selection and commands) to true sword fighting in your favourite role-playing game.

Introducing the PlayStation Move
The PlayStation 3 Motion Controller contains built-in motion sensors, including a colour-changing orb at its head, which interacts with the PlayStation Eye Camera to track movement. This tracking is precise, meaning the PlayStation 3 Motion Contoller recreates every single swing of the arm and twist of the wrist exactly on screen.

Time to Move
The PlayStation Move gives PlayStation 3 gamers a new way to play and interact with their PlayStation 3. The Move is actually broken into three separate parts; the Motion Controller, Navigation Controller and the PlayStation Eye Camera.

The PlayStation Move: Motion Controller
The Playstation Move: Motion Controller contains advanced motion sensors such as a three-axis accelerometer, a three-axis gyroscope and a terrestrial magnetic field sensor to measure your movements and motions which are translated into on screen movements and commands. The colour changing sphere on the end of the controller is tracked by the PlayStation Eye and by using the power of the PlayStation 3 it detects the movements, angle and the absolute position in 3D space, to add to the accuracy.

Move to the beat
At this point there are 36 third party developers and publishers gearing up to support the PlayStation Move, releasing more than 20 games that are either dedicated to or support the PlayStation Move platform.

Wicked price, had I not used £11 worth of Tesco vouchers I'd of gone for this!

Just posted the even cheaper single move controller up too!
#2
anyone used Choices for pre-orders? don't want to cancel a third time if they are a bit rubbish
#3
Nice find. Heat added!
#4
I was wondering about their reliability too, as I've made my order through Asda?
#5
Good price but I posted a review of ChoicesUK a few months ago and would not use them again.
#6
What games are available to use with Move?
#7
I used choices UK last year. Let's just say that the order arrived eventually. Don't use for a pre-order or you'll get it for Christmas.
#8
Good price but I will still with my combi zavvi order of the starter pack and Resi Evil 5 gold edition with £5 voucher (even though this would work out cheaper) I've had bad experiences with choices as others have said.
#9
good price OP nice find thanks

FYI:
I have listed a few previously:
---
In some of the other (many) threads on the new motion controller input peripherals I have expressed my interest (& shared the interests of my kids) in the following titles for the Sony product(s):

The Fight" (or "The Fight: Lights Out", previously known as "Motion Fighters" & "Dukes") as mentioned above
"Resident Evil 5: Alternative Edition" (retrospectively patched)
"Pain" (patched)
"LittleBigPlanet" (patched)
"SOCOM[:U.S. Navy SEALs] 4" (or "SOCOM: Special Forces")
"Killzone 3"
"The Sly [HD] Collection"
"Time Crisis: Razing Storm" (including the arcade version of "Time Crisis 4" & a new title, "Deadstorm Pirates")

(I found the new GunCon 3 peripheral too heavy to play for a prolonged period in "Time Crisis 4" & the fact that separate gun devices could not be purchased outside of Japan made the two-player game less than fun. Setting up the light sensors every time somebody wanted to play was also tiresome. With the PlayStation Move controllers I think those issues will be addressed. I sold my "Time Crisis 4" [for profit!] last month as well. The buyer re-sold them again a few weeks later. Maybe they found similar problem[s]).

Also on my (& my kids') 'watch' list are:

"Ape Escape [PS3]"
“Buzz! The Ultimate Music Quiz”
"Heroes on the Move"
"Kung Fu Rider" (previously known as "Slider")
"LittleBigPlanet 2"
"Michael Jackson: The Game"
"Sesame Street" (title to be confirmed)
"SingStar Dance"
“SingStar Guitar”
"Sorcery"
"Sports Champions"
"The Shoot"
"Tron: Evolution"
"TV Superstars"
"Toy Story 3: The Video Game" [now owned, & played almost continually yesterday by my two youngest kids]

Other PlayStation Move-supported titles (announced so far) are as follows:

"Beat Sketcher"
"Brunswick Pro Bowling"
"Deadliest Catch: Sea Of Chaos"
"Dead Space 2"
"Echochrome II"
“EyePet (Move Edition”) (formerly "EyePet 2"; there is also some debate about whether "EyePet" is going to be retrospectively patched, or not)
"Flower" (retrospectively patched)
"Get Fit with Mel B"
"Grand Slam Tennis"
"Gran Turismo 5"
"Heavy Rain (Move Edition)" (patch also to be made available)
"High Velocity Bowling" (patched)
"Hustle Kings" (patched)
"John Daly's ProStroke Golf"
"NBA 2K11"
"Planet Minigolf" (patched)
"R.U.S.E." (may be released with support or may be patched thereafter)
"Raquet Sports"
"Sanzaru Games"
"Sing & Draw" (title to be confirmed)
"Start The Party"
"The Lord Of The Rings: Aragorn's Quest"
"Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11" (Patched)
"Tumble"
"Under Siege"

FYI:
Gran Turismo 5 supports Move, 3D (MCVUK.com, 24 May 2010)

(It also has 256MB mandatory installation & an optional 10GB installation for a "smooth experience")

It was a while ago, but Choices messed up my pre order for wiifit- they are happy to take the order, even though they don't know how many units they are going to get. My advice - use a more reliable site.

You have a guarantee of despatch so that the order arrives on (or before) the release date.

"Release Date or Compensate":

However, ShopTo.net think PlayStation Move is "coming 10/10/2010"... so who knows when you'll get it!?! :)

Must have been from a while back, as the product pages now state 17/09/2010.

Every order ive had from shopto has generally arrived 1 or 2, sometimes even 3 days before the actual release day, and ive never actually received a game on the release day itself. Should be the same again hopefully.

Also from what I've read about ChoicesUK (other than never having heard of them before) is that they aren't too clever with getting pre-ordered items to you for the release date, which is no good.

No, I took the image from the home page of the ShopTo.net site seconds before I posted my comment above... but yes, the Official & Officially licensed hardware & the launch game titles are being released on 17 September 2010. Some of the unofficial hardware is released on 10 September 2010.

I've ordered from ShopTo.net in the past (but never again).
The GAME Group I find deliver items a few days in advance of the release date for software as well.

The members of The Hut Group, in my experience, don't tend to be as good.

Of course, any delivery has The Royal Fail in the middle regardless of the date of despatch so, in some cases, you cannot blame the individual retailers.

I called them yesterday and they said they wouldn't be getting them in stock until Friday and it will take 3 to 5 working days to get to you.

So I cancelled and ordered from ShopTo who dispatched it within half an hour and there was an attempted delivery this morning but I was out so have to collect it from postie tomorrow

Well i will not be buying from these again , when i rang they told me it had been despatched and it would arrive on friday....... NOTHING still.
