why has this only got 74 heat when the others reached over 300, it baffles me
#4
Just posting this as a warning - it appears as though The Hut have upped the prices of items before putting them on sale - not saying they have on this deal, but it's worth reading that Trading Standards are intending to follow it up.

I think thats standard practice these days with most companies

I wouldn't believe that **** from SGr. Guy spends his time reposting deals from here and pretending he found them, he's got a cheek accusing other people of dishonesty. I seriously doubt Trading Standards will do anything, thehut are perfectly entitled to change their prices.

why do you care about the heat of a deal? submitting deals for the wrong reasons perhaps?

I just find it bizare how deals pan out with votes, If your spreading the word of a deal that has had some heat at a higher price & you post a cheaper deal its bizare how it gets blasted down.Whats wrong with questioning it?

The only thing that interests me in move is replaying Heavy Rain.

Is this both the control with the light on (the Wii -mote) and the other bit (the nun-chuck)?

Lol ironic that it is this price and when you put down another £25 for the nunchuck sorry sub controller and the fact that some games require 2 move controllers for 1 player another £35 you might aswell just buy a wii which has much better software suited to this and not just tacked on.

I have a Wii too but I think the new tech with this PS3 gear will leave the Wii looking like pong
#14
U dont need a sub controller just use the dualshock
and most games require just the move itself
the wii is ok for kids its too basic for mature gamers

Ive got a Wii, the graphics are just horrible on my HDTV, so I will get Move, its looks nice and a lot more precise than the Wii's very basic accelerometer.
#16
Should be interesting to use with RUSE. Might make RTS worth playing on a console.
#17
super hot ordered.
#18
also all the move games are £22.50 using this code as is the sub controller.
#19
I have had a Wii almost from launch and have many games on the system, I disagree that the Wii picture looks horrible on a HDTV, I have seen it look so so on an HDTV but I use a component cable on mine and the picture is fine, its the graphics that are a little old school. I also own a PS3 which I have owned for much less time and I am interested to see how this pans out, from what I can see the Move adds a 3D aspect to games play which the Wii does have so will be different - then you also have the superior graphics of the PS3 and overall power also.

At the end of the day though it always down to playability of the game, some of the best games available have none of these things and I keep going back for more.

I'm sure that I will end up buying all the bits and pieces needed to play this when a must have game comes along, I do believe though that the pack should come with a game disc, similar to Wii Sports for instance to help launch it though.
#20
Seriously tempted at this price, if only for when little big planet 2 comes out.
#21
Just sold my ps3 camera for £20 on a well known auction site so now ive only paid £22 for move controller and brand new camera
Great stuff

Ill informed people like you should not post about things you obviously have not idea about.

Sony have said most games only require the 1 Move controller to play, and if need be, the normal pad can be used also.

And why would a PS3 owner want to buy a Wii when we are getting full HD high tech graphics and state of the art motion control and caption tech compared to an out of date last gen console like the Wii?

Look at the games supported and watch some Move vids in action, read up on the tech used and then come back when you have a decent comment to make.
#24
Not enough reasons to buy this at the mo for me. Regardless of how much the tech is better than the Wii it will need a killer app to differentiate it and give developers a reason to make the most of the technology. IMO all we will see with Move is what we have already seen from the Wii.

But its better then the Wii, on the PS3, so theres better games and better graphics and more potential!

I can't understand how so many people can't see this!

Yes its like the Wii, but surely thats a good thing???

If the Wii can do so well, then surely the Move has a 100 times the potential with HD and 3D graphical gaming???

Bah people look so beyond the main point. EVERY owner of the wii has motion control with the PS3 its not. Your not going to start getting proper development for this platform until developers have decided its viable i.e. like Activision so it will just be a silly add on to an existing game.

I would much rather be able to use mouse+keyboard on my Xbox and PS3.

http://www.techwatch.co.uk/2010/07/22/microsoft-canned-pc-vs-xbox-cross-platform-gaming/

Now that would make business sense as usb keyboard+mouse can be picked up for around £10 now?

Do you have a PS3? If you do then you would know that every PS3 owner has motion control too.
Sure it's not always used to great effect in most games but there are a lot that use it. Flying arrows in Heavenly Sword is probably the best that i've used.

I seriously wouldn't consider six-axis 'motion controls.' It was just a last minute backup option because Sony couldn't put dual shock in due to lawsuits and it showed.

Oddly enough Heavenly Sword motion controls system is the reason why I sent that game back.

Agreed. The amount of people who post deals just to get some sort of 'satisfaction' or sense of achievement about getting a hot deal is just pathetic. It takes the term "No Lifer" to a whole new level.

Why do people care about the motivation? Its not like they are getting paid. I think its good that there is an edge of competitiveness in it. Makes it more enticing for people to waste 5 minutes of their life posting deals.

So by stating the obvious you think you created a valid point?

So every owner of the Wii has motion control.

Ok.

So what about the PS3 owners?

Ok there is Six-axis and although its not the most precise piece of kit when its used it properly like in Killzone 2 and Uncharted its a great addition. So why not go to the next step and get FULL motion capture support with the Move?

There is no reason to have negative feelings for this at all, its adding to the system and the immersion of gaming.

Simply comparing it with another console or by saying "Its too expensive!" is not a reason to write this off.

It will work, you only have to look at the games its supporting to see this.

I mean, the Wii has games that don't have motion support, so why can't the PS3 do the same but the other way around?

I say good luck.

I have pre ordered the Wand, analogue stick, the gun, the charger and RE5 gold.

Oh and the price?

I work full time, support my girlfriend and my child, but I can still afford it, no issue there.

And another thing, although I think Kinect is a pile of ****, with MS onboard with motion support this will also benefit the Move as Developers get onboard and create games and updates for existing games so we can all play them in a whole new way.

I bought the PS3 for its high calibre exclusives. There is no doubt that the reviews for PS3 exclusives v Xbox 360 exclusives the PS3 has the highest ratings by far.

Sony will be the one who (at least initially) has to push for the software to be developed so that people buy the move and in turn publishers like Activision bother to make the games. If they can do both then great but I think one will bring down the other like they usually do.

I would like to think people think before buying this product and perhaps buy it 2-3 months down the line to see how things develop rather than buying it right away. It can only get cheaper and if more games are available it can only make it more viable.

What a ridiculous reply!

So if everyone didn't buy something that just came out, how can the makers make money for it to grow and give reassurance to the independent game developers that the product has backing and is selling well????

People have to put faith in products and hope that enough people buy them, its always a gamble, every new release is, even games go through this. If everyone waited for reviews before buying games half of them wouldn't or maybe couldn't be made!

Its people like you that try and instil doubt and ill-informed negative posts like this that are bad for the games industry.

I am happy to spend the £100 next month for the Move bundle I've chosen because I know how much fun and potential there is with this.

I used to have a Wii along with my PS3 and yes it was great, but (it was hacked) out of the 100 games I had, only a mere handful interested me. I would always chose the PS3 over the Wii.

Now the PS3 is getting Motion control, well I can't wait. I'm just pity the people like you that can't see how good it can be.

Aahahaha how ironic I can't believe you said that within paragraphs of each other. Saying I am bad for the games industry then ADMITTING you hacked your Wii. Ahaha

Nintendo deserve their crown for totally turning around the games industry and getting more people into gaming. Yes this has put a lot of rubbish onto the Wii but the exact same thing will happen with the PS3. PSN will be absolutely cluttered with mini games all trying a 'Wii sports' approach but I only support games on the Wii that I believe are good and they are usually first party such as Zelda or Super Mario Galaxy 2.

I can only imagine how bad the gaming industry would be in terms of quality and dynamics if the likes of Nintendo and Miyamoto didn't exist.

Listen wii hardly worked to begin with if u were stupid enough to buy motion plus it improves it a little bit, but its still ropey.

If you have tried move you know its everything u have wanted from motion control seriously sports champions is really good and the tech delivers and its cheap.
